Floyd Mayweather Confirms That He Is Training For Possible UFC Match: ‘My Wrestling Game is Not Bad’ (VIDEO)
If this was about one year ago, no one in there right mind would take Floyd Mayweather seriously once he started talking about fighting in the UFC. But after Conor McGregor made the crossover to have his first professional boxing match last year, pretty much anything is possible.
The retired boxing legend defeated McGregor in his last professional boxing bout to end his career with a perfect 50-0 record. Since then, he’s been teasing the world with clips of him in an Octagon over the past few weeks, which has people thinking he might make that crossover.
Mayweather was recently leaving Katana in Los Angeles when TMZ caught up with him. He was definitely in a talking mood as he confirmed that he was indeed training for a possible MMA bout. Mayweather even rated his particular set of MMA skills.
“I can wrestle,” Floyd says … “My wrestling game is not that bad. On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s probably a 7 and I think we could take it up to like a 9.”
