Baker Mayfield TORCHES Texas QB For Throwing Shade At His OU Teammate (VIDEO)
It’s no secret that Oklahoma Sooners offensive tackle Orlando Brown had himself a horrendous combine. Once projected to be a first-round pick on most draft boards, his 5.86-second 40-yard dash and 14 reps on the bench press have caused his stock to plummet more than any other prospect over the past few weeks.
And it’s not only the scouts who have taken notice of Brown’s disappointing combine. Even some former opponents have chimed in, including Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who posted the following comment about Brown’s 14 reps on Twitter:

This tweet obviously didn’t sit well with many OU supporters. Some of them responded directly on Twitter. As for Brown’s former quarterback, Baker Mayfield, he had the following to say when asked about Ehlinger’s comments:
“He’s never beaten Lake Travis, and he’s also never beaten OU, so I’ll leave it at that.”
Lake Travis, Mayfield’s old high school, defeated Ehlinger during his high school career. And Mayfield’s Sooners beat Texas during the 2017 edition of the Red River Rivalry, 29-24.
What did Ehlinger think of Mayfield’s comeback? It didn’t seem to bother him one bit:

Hopefully these two can continue their rivalry at the NFL level a few years from now.
