Hockey Players Has His Ear Sliced By Skate, Returns To Game (VIDEO)

When people say things like, “hockey players are the toughest,” it’s because of stories like this.

During last night’s game between the Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota Wild, the skate of Wild forward Zach Parise came up and sliced the ear of Kings defenseman Derek Forbort as both players were falling to the ice.

If it looks painful. that’s because it probably was!

Forbort had to leave the game and receive some work to his hacked-up ear, but he’s a hockey player, so of course he returned.

From the looks of it, the repairs were quite extensive and possibly performed by a blind man:
