LeBron Not Worried About 0-1 Deficit To Indiana Pacers: “I Was Down 3-1 In The Finals” (VIDEO)
For the past seven years, a LeBron James led team has been in the NBA Finals, and everybody fully expected it to happen once again this year despite the Cavs’ roster overhaul and their struggles during the regular season.
For the first time, it feels as if LeBron James won’t be playing deep into June after the Cavaliers could do nothing to stop the Indiana Pacers during an 18-point blowout on their home floor in Game 1.
If you thought LeBron would be devastated about the blowout or being down 0-1 in the first round, think again. The King isn’t sweating it at all.
“I’ve always stayed even-keeled with the postseason,” the four-time MVP told reporters postgame. “I’m down 0-1 in the first round. I was down 3-1 in the Finals. I’m the last guy to ask about how you’re gonna feel the next couple of days.”
LeBron and company were down 3-1 in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors in 2016, before they mounted a furious comeback and made history against a team that won 73 games in the regular season.
