Kobe Bryant OK With The Lakers Adding LiAngelo Ball To Team: ‘If It’ll Help Win’ (VIDEO)
For well over a year, LaVar Ball has preached about how he wants all of his sons to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. So far, things just so happened to work out for them to get Lonzo Ball in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Since then, LaVar has taken both LiAngelo and LaMelo out of school and out of the country to play professionally and get more experience. That has since ended, however, and LiAngelo is getting ready for the 2018 NBA Draft, where he hopes to hear his name called.
If LaVar had hopes of the middle son making it to the Lakers, he got the “OK” from one of the greatest players in franchise history.
When asked what he wants the Los Angeles Lakers to do in the upcoming NBA Draft, Kobe Bryant kept his response to TMZ Sports concise:
“Win. Pick some players that’ll help them win.”
He didn’t completely shut down the idea of adding more players from the Ball family as well, saying, “If it’ll help them win.”
