PGA Star Lucas Glover’s 911 Call Released After Wife Attacked Him, Called Him ‘P*ssy’ For Playing Poorly (VIDEO)
Lucas Glover has experienced some success while being a pro golfer, having won the 2009 U.S. Open during his career. But it hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows.
Over the weekend, Lucas missed the 54 hole cut at The Players Championship, so when he arrived home to his lovely wife, she berated him for playing poorly, then attacked him and her mother-in-law.
It’s all in a police report obtained by TMZ Sports … which says cops in Jacksonville, Florida were called to a rented house where Glover, his wife and mother were staying.
According to the report, Lucas’ mother had cuts on her arms and blood on her chest when cops arrived … and said Krista had attacked both her and Lucas.
When cops made contact with Lucas, he said the fight started after he played a bad round of golf at the Players Championship earlier that day.
The police report states … “Lucas advised me every time he plays poorly in a tournament, Krista begins yelling at him, stating he is a ‘loser’ and ‘p*ssy’ and ultimately starting an altercation with him about his performance.”
Lucas told police that she told him “how he better win or [Krista] and the kids would leave him and he would never see their kids again.” Krista was arrested on Saturday by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and released the following morning after posting $2,500 in bonds.
TMZ has since gotten a hold of the 911 call from that day and it shows a frantic Krista attempting to place blame on her mother-in-law for being the aggressor.
“Krista Glover initially called 911 on Saturday to report she had been attacked by her mother-in-law at the Florida home they were renting while Lucas was playing in the Players Championship golf tournament.
“I’ve been attacked by my mother-in-law,” Krista told the operator … “She’s locked herself in the room and attacked us.”
A short time later, Lucas spoke to the operator and says his wife was LYING.
“She’s trying to blame it on my mother which is not the case at all,” Lucas said … “My wife has gone crazy.”
The operator tells Lucas cops are on the way — but he tries to stop that from happening, “I don’t think anybody needs to come out here, thank you though.”
Here’s that audio:
Cops also say Krista kicked the squad car so hard, the door separated from the frame. That is one strong woman. She was charged with domestic violence battery and resisting arrest without violence, according to the Associated Press.
Glover confirmed the altercation took place in a Twitter post on Tuesday and stated they would be working things out.
“On May 12, my wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called,” he tweeted. “Everyone is fine. Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened and Krista will be cleared in this private matter.”
