Taking care of the Eagles in a shootout on Monday night means the Cowboys are number 1. The only cause for concern is that their defense looked shaky at times and Tony Romo had a costly turnover.  |

After a big division win over the Browns at home the Steelers looked primed to have a great season. The pass offense seemed to sputter at times but should be better in the coming weeks. |

The Giants showed the lowly Rams why they are the defending champs and beat them in their own house. By the end of next week they should be 3-0 as they host the Bengals at home in what should be a one sided affair. |

Matt Cassel became the first player in NFL history to start a game without having started one at the collegiate level. The Patriots seem to have the right personnel to rally around this inexperienced pivot.  Are we looking at the next Tom Brady? We shall see. |

The packers rolled to an easy win in Motown as their offense and defense both had great performances. Aaron Rodgers looked to be in complete control as he threw for three touchdowns and over 300 yards. |

Vince who? Even without their troubled QB the Titans crushed the Cincinnati Bengals.  Rookie Chris Johnson had another impressive outing as he passed the century mark in rushing yards for the first time in his young career. |

The Bills are now 2-0 and look to be a contender in the AFC East. This young and talented team managed to outplay a Jacksonville team that is usually tough to beat at home. |

The Eagles played hard but failed to beat the Cowboys. McNabb and Westbrook had solid games but in they could not score in the final minutes to take the lead. The Eagles will host the Steelers in week 3 in what should be an entertaining affair.   |

The game against the Vikings was a must win for the Colts. Although it was not a pretty affair they managed to squeak one out. They may have salvaged their season and should be able to get past the Jags in week 3. |

Rookie running back Jonathan Stewart had his best day as a pro playing against one of the leagues best defenses. He rushed for 77 yards on 14 carries to go along with two touchdowns. The return of Steve Smith in week 3 should ignite the passing game and help Jake Delhomme return to old form. |

This division match-up could have gone either way but a few questionable calls went the Broncos way which allowed them to win the game late. Jay Cutler proved why we here at Total Pro Sports selected him as our Fantasy QB starter of the week. |

Another solid game from Kurt Warner has the Cardinals and their fans dreaming about the possibility of making the playoffs.  If the Seahawks and Rams continue to struggle the NFC west will be theirs for the taking. |

Playing without Marques Colstonreally seemed to limit the potency of the Saints offense. The fact that he will miss a significant amount of time means their other receivers will have to step up big time. |

The Jags looked like a team in disarray as they let the Bills walk into their house and beat them. David Garrard struggled as he failed to throw a touchdown pass. |

Another 0-2 start combined with an injured Ladanian Tomlinson means bad news for the Chargers. The defense looked like they are really missing Shawne Merriman as they failed to pressure Jay Cutler. |

The Redskins managed to beat the Saints at home thanks in part to big games from Clinton Portis and Santana Moss. They will host the 2-0 Cardinals at home this week in what could be a shootout. |

Brett Favre and Jets fell back to earth this week as the Patriots showed them they can win without Brady. Favre will have to step up his play in order for this team to make a playoff push. |

The Bears lost a close game to a much improved Carolina team this week. Rookie Matt Forte had another solid game again and has looked like the player the Bears thought they were getting when they drafted Cedric Benson. |

Another loss at home, this time to a division opponent has Browns is a deep hole to start the season. A questionable call near the end of the game by Romeo Crennel to go for a field goal instead of try for a touchdown means that his days as a coach could be numbered. |

The preseason favorites to win the division also find themselves 0-2. Tarvaris Jackson looked shaky in a game that they should have won. Some of the blame can also fall on the shoulders of kicker Ryan Longwell for missing a key field goal. |

The Raiders beat the Chiefs to win their first game of the year. Rookie Darren McFadden showed the Raiders why he deserved to by selected early in the first round of this years draft as he rushed for 169 yards on 21 and also had a touchdown. |

San Fran shocked the Seahawks by beating them at home in over time. The game should have ended in regulation but kicker Joe Nedney missed a field goal in the dying seconds of the game, but made up for his mistake in the extra period. |

The Falcons struggled against the Bucs as Matt Ryan threw two picks. This was Ryan's first bad game as a pro and he should be able to have a much better game this week against the Chiefs. |

The Bengals suck, plain and simple. Their offense looked slow and their defense would be bad in the CFL. They should fire Marvin Lewis and trade Chad Ocho Cinco. |

Poor Bill Parcells, who is most likely wondering why he came out of retirement to help this team. Look for the Fins to throw rookie QB Chad Henne into the starting lineup sooner rather than later. |

If the Lions are truly intent on one day becoming a winning franchise they need to fire Matt Millen and hire a manager capable of running the team properly.  At least they have the potential to have the top pick in next years draft. |

The team formerly referred to as the greatest show on turf should now be called the lamest show on the earth. Marc Bulger was hit so many times that the imprint of his jersey is still on the field.  |
The Bills do not play in the AFC North.
Bills are in the AFC North now???? lol It’s the AFC East, come on guys.
Sorry for the error everyone, mistake has been corrected. Honest mistake was made!
haha, just keeping you honest.
Nice rankings, I found you guys on the net first. Keep up the ealry publishing.
I think the Patriots should be #7, they still havent proved they can win with Cassel
The Bills look really good this year maybe they should stop entertaining the idea of bringing them to Toronto.
The Titans are on cloud nine right now. They will feel the effects of not having Vince Young when they play anyone not called the Bungals.
What is going on with the Jags? I thought this could have been the year they make a run.
The jags are lost, they must think it’s exhibiton games theyre playing
The Steelers are back
Maybe the jags made a mistake giving up on Byron Leftwich, granted he hasn’t found a new team to play on, maybe Gerrard wasnt ready to take over a team or it could just be the sophmore jinx.
Of the teams ranked in the bottom twelve I think that the Seahawks have the best shot of still making the post season that division is bad and I feel the Cardinals have had a light schedule to this point and I predict that they will lose 3 out of their 4 next games to fall to 3-3 on the season.
Arizona is my sleeper pick to the Bowl. You never know so ill take a go with it
