Week 3 Fantasy Football Bench Warmers

1

Here are the fantasy football players that you should avoid this week if you want to give your Fantasy football team a chance to win.  The Bengals look really bad so far so keep all of their players benched until they pick it up.  The same could be said for the Browns, with the exception of Kellen Winslow who has played alright in the first two weeks.

Carson Palmer, QB, Cincinnati Bengals,

The Bengals are one of the worst teams in the league this year and there is no reason for that to change this week against the Giants.  Palmer should be nailed to the bench of your fantasy football team as he is off to the worst start of his career.

Jamal Lewis, RB, Cleveland Browns,

This week Lewis will be playing against his old team the Baltimore Ravens.  The Ravens solid core of linebackers and defensive linemen will eliminate Cleveland’s running game entirely.  Stay far away from Lewis this week.

Bernard Berrian, WR, Minnesota Vikings

Berrian was one of number of high-priced free agents brought in this offseason in attempts to bring the team to the next level.  Heading in to the third week of the season he has accumulated a grand total of 3 receptions for 38 yards.  Until the Vikings get a QB that can throw the ball keep this guy on your bench.

L.J. Smith, TE, Philadelphia Eagles,

The Eagles have a difficult match-up this week against a very good Steelers defense.  The emergence of DeSean Jackson combined with the possible return of Reggie Brown means that L.J. Smith might end up being the forgotten man in the offense.

    1. Hey Dan your forgetting someone your boy Joseph Addai he has done nothting. this last week 15 carries for 20 yards and a touchdown and in week one, 12 carries for 44 yards thats not good enough for one of the top running backs in the league. It’s only gonna get tougher as they play the Jags this week, ah what do I know Addai probably makes me eat my words and goes for 150 and 2 TD’s.
