Las Vegas Has Record Snow Fall

1

Total Pro Sports – Who knew the Desert got Snow?  So put your shorts and T shirts away and take out your winter jackets.  A record snow fall has hit Las Vegas, Nevada.  It’s the worst storm that Vegas has seen in 30 years, with an estimated 3 inches of snow to fall.

This is not the first time it has snowed in Las Vegas, 2 years this January 4th.  Very light flurries hit the Vegas Strip only to melt by the time they hit the ground.  That year they had the coldest winter in history.

Other city’s near Las Vegas are expected to get hit harder.  8 inches of snow will fall by the time the storm is over reports are confirming.

This is causing major havoc to flights in and out of Las Vegas, with cancellations across the board.  It has also caused a problem for the upcoming December 20th, Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl.  The BYU Cougars will be facing the Arizona Wildcats and hopefully this storm will pass so the teams will be able to get there safely.

Here are some pictures from the record snow fall!

Where’s New York, New York?  the Snow is covering it!
