$425 Million Spent By The Yanks: What Would You Do?

Total Pro Sports - If you had $425 Million what would you do with it? We know how the New York Yankees would spend the money. They would pay players a lot of money and hopefully buy a World Series Championship.
This year the New York Yankees have signed 3 of the top free agents available on the market, CC Sabathia (7 years $161 million), AJ Burnett (5 years $85 million), and Mark Teixeira (8 years $170 million). Adding to their squad a growing list top paid players in the MLB. Are they done or will they continue to spend?
So what would we buy with $425 million?
- Purchase a 7300 square-foot mansion sitting on 6 acres in Scottsdale, Arizona - $5 Million.
- Purchase a 2006 Learjet 60SE - $10 million.
- Purchase a 2 story 6800 square-foot condo in Las Vegas at the Turnberry Towers - $5.75 million.
- Purchase a $16 million, 9,000 square-foot penthouse in Downtown Toronto.
Total -$36.75 Million
So how would we invest the $425 million?
- Buy the struggling Phoenix Coyotes for about $135 million and move them to wither Winnipeg or Quebec City.
- Invest $53.25 million and buy 1 million shares in Visa.
- Set aside $50 million to buy land for future developments.
- Lock up $100 million in a bank collecting about 7-8% interest.
Total -$338.25 Million
The remaining $48.5 million we would keep in an account as daily to yearly expenses. That's what we would do with $423.5 million. What would you do with this money?

Wow thats alot of money, I would probably buy a night club and party every night.
Ya soon enough the Yankees payroll is going to exceed the entire MLB payroll. What happened to producing your own talent, nah y when you can just go buy it, it’s a lot easier that way
Well first of all i’m tired of the yankees. They should just buy the world series for god’s sake. This is a perfect example of why baseball needs a salary cap like the NFL and NBA its pathetic. But back to the question i would probably help 3rd world countries and help homeless people have homes, also help abandoned and abused animals find good homes.

You could buy the As 3 times with that lmao. Actualy the best thing to happen would be for people to not buy there kids any Yankees gear. Put a 1 year ban in your family of anyone buying anything that gives revenue to the Yankees then watch them not get any of the playoff money and hurt there bank accounts. ORRRRRRRRR go to yankee stadium and get hurt on purpose and sue them for millions. Have that happen to 20 people and each sue for 50 million settle for 10 million and they lose 200 million
i would buy britney spears or jessica simpson. then i would buy the nicest house of all time complete with a bmw z4 in the driveway (always wanted one). id get a membership to augusta national ( i love to play golf). then id take care of my parents and my friends so they’d live 2 min away from me. then i’d try to buy the phillies or sixers (probably wont have the money) so i could run the team the way i wanted to. after all of that id put about 100 million in a c.o.d account and never work another day in my life….O YEA!!! did i mention id buy britney spears or jessica simpson?
I’d buy the Cardinals and take over as GM. I’d try to sign talented players with the money left over (keeping it baseball-related).
