New York vs New York: The Patch Wars

3

Total Pro Sports-  There has always been a rivalry between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets.  Now, that rivalry has been taken to new and unprecedented heights.  Both teams will be moving into new stadiums this season and in order to commemorate the event, each team will be wearing new patches on their jerseys.

The Yankees patch (Right), depicting the new Yankee Stadium, looks good, its simple and to the point.  It will definitely be a nice addition to the classic pin stripe jersey.

Behold, the new New York Mets patch that will represent their new stadium, Citi Field.  What a work or art, who knows how many long hours it took to create this masterpiece.  Word on the street is that it actually cost 150 million dollars to make, which is why they couldn't afford to pay C.C. Sabathia.

It seems to look a little like the Dominos Pizza logo don't you think?

Another page has been written in this historic rivalry, only this time it is unclear who the real winner is.
