Rumor: Bouwmeester And Horton For Tomas Kaberle

Total Pro Sports – The NHL All Star weekend can be an eventful one for the fans and the general mangers of all 30 NHL teams. Every GM tries to attend atleast one day of the festivities to have the chance to discuss possible trades with other teams.

A inside source of TPS has identified that their is a possibility that Jay Bouwmeester and Nathan Horton of the Florida Panthers could be traded any day now to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Tomas Kaberle a draft pick and either of 3 options in Mikhail Grabovski, Nikolai Kulemin or Jiri Tlusty.

A second rumor has also surfaced during the All Star weekend that Leafs prospect Justin Pogge is on the trading block and can be traded for JS Giguere of the Anaheim Ducks or Niklas Backstrom of the Minnesota Wild.

These both would be an interesting trades and possibly excellent moves for the Leafs who would be able to fill their needs with talented young players. The only problem with trading Pogge is that the Leafs would then have 2 starting high priced goalies on their roster. If this trade does happen you can expect Vesa Toskala to also be traded.

We’ll just have to wait and see if these rumors actually come to fruition.

Just for the record I hate the Toronto Maple Laughs, but this rumor that would send Tomas Kaberle to the Panthers for Bouwmeester and Horton is an absolute steal, are the Panthers stupid? They saw what the combination of McCabe and Kaberle couldn’t do.

The second rumor is a dream, maybe on a far away planet it would become reality.

I have several inside sources of my own and so far there is very little chance of that happening. A lot will happen on how Florida does over the next 5 weeks. That will be a big key.

Giguere will stay a Duck but Backstrom could be traded though even that only has a slight chance of happening as well.
