Dominic Moore’s Stickless Breakaway

0

Dominic Moore of the Toronto MapleTotal Pro Sports - If you did not tune in to watch Mats Sundin's return to Toronto then you probably missed the oddest breakaway in some time.

While killing a power play Toronto's Domenic Moore blocked a shot which in turn snapped his stick in half and sent the puck down the ice. Moore out-skated the Canucks defenseman and was in alone one Roberto Luongo, problem is that he did not have a stick.

Now I am not sure what was more sad on this play, the fact that Toronto had two players barreling down on Luongo or that both Maple Leafs were able to out-skate both Canucks defenseman.

Take a look at the bizarre play for yourself and we will not give away the result of the breakaway.
