patrick-schuster-throws-4-straight-four-no-hittersTotal Pro Sports - Last week Tampa Bay High School baseball star Patrick Schuster threw his third consecutive no-hitter.  This tied the 22 year old mark held by Sam Militello from Jefferson High School and Ben Webb from Gonzalez Tate High School.

Yesterday the impossible was accomplished as Patrick Schuster of the Mitchell High Mustangs threw his fourth consecutive no-hitter against the Pasco Pirates setting the Florida State record. The only other player to throw 4 straight no-hitter was Scott Kazmir (Texas) of the Tampa bay Rays and the National High School record is 6.

"Schuster struck out 17 Pasco batters Monday in the 5-0 victory as he broke a 24-year-old state record. Schuster passed Ben Webb, who threw three straight no-hitters for Gonzales Tate in 1985."

Patrick Schuster who committed to the Florida Gators threw a record 60 strikeouts, 30 straight hitless innings and overall in 53 innings pitched this season, Schuster (8-0) has 110 strikeouts and a 0.73 ERA.  Schuster will have a chance at the National High School mark and we wish him all the luck as he is set to take the mound Tuesday, April 28 in the Mustangs' opening game of the district tournament.
