Baseball Fan Catches Foul Ball With A Pizza Box
Total Pro Sports - Foul balls can be a dangerous thing for fans at baseball games. One girl almost found that out first-hand, but was luckily saved by her boyfriend and his quick reflexes. Oh, and lets not forget about his skills with the pizza box.
Unprepared to make any plays on incoming balls, this guy left his baseball glove at home, but thankfully he didn't even need it. When the foul ball flew in his direction, he used the pizza box to snatch it out of the air before it reached his girl's head.
We've seen Philly ball girls make great grabs, and even a police officer at the Yankees game showed off his hands, but never has someone pulled off the pizza box grab. I wonder if he tried returning it for a new pizza.
Imagine that. "Excuse me sir. You tried to sell me a pizza with a baseball on it."
(Oh, and we should probably mention that the box may not have been a pizza box. Do Japanese baseball games even sell pizza?)

It’s not from Japan, but from Singapore !
)
You can see it from the “old” chinese characters and, of course, from a language which is not Japanese
So, a pizza box is not out of question, as Chinese mainlanders or Taiwanese love pizza…. Anyway, the guys kicks ass with his lunch box !!
Well, I should readproof myself…
Singapore, it’s not but I meant Taiwan…
The rest of the comment stands, I guess
Pretty sure this is Chinese……. broadcaster is speaking in chinese, signs behind home plate are in chinese…. channel enumeration on the upper right is chinese……. and the guy LOOKs chinese as do all the other fans around him
who died and made me the expert? I’m chinese
It’s actually the Taiwanese baseball league- CPBL..
Unfortunately, that’s not in Japan–nor are they speaking Japanese–so I couldn’t tell you whether they sell pizza there.
Sounds like Chinese–it’s probably in Taiwan.
I believe this may be the Taiwan League, not Japan League.
Um, the announcers are speaking Mandarin. Are you sure this wasn’t a Taiwan baseball game?
…except that this was in Taiwan, NOT Japan.
Nice catch! But I’m pretty sure that was a game in Chinese or Taiwanese league, not Japanese. The commentators are speaking in Chinese (I can’t tell which dialect though), the TV display are the ad display behind home plate are all written in Chinese, and the fans look more Chinese than Japanese. (I’m Asian, so I can tell the difference)
Well, hopefully people will read the comments and put to rest that this is probably in the Taiwanese League speaking Mandarin Chinese. Already got tons of Asian’s pointing that out.
My two cents are the fact the ball would have missed her because she ducked out of the way and the guy haphazardly put the box out in order to protect himself. You can see he was leaning away from her as well.
The announcer speaks in Taiwanese at 25 seconds, and their dialect of mandarin sounds Taiwanese as well. So, the broadcasters are Taiwanese, probably it is in Taiwan.
