Badgers Scott Tolzien Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

badgers-scott-tolzien-looking-for-love-in-all-the-wrong-placesTotal Pro Sports  - The starting quarterback for the Wisconsin Badgers Scott Tolzien was having a rough day against Ohio State this past Saturday.  In fact, Tolzien was having the kind of day where he was responsible for two of the opposing teams touchdowns in the form of interceptions returned for scores.  Neither of them were anything he wanted to see in highlight films of good interceptions.

Tolzien's Badgers were 5-0 going into the game with the Buckeyes.  Although they had mostly played cupcakes before this week's matchup, Tolzien had still looked pretty impressive.  He had 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in those 5 games.  Most people felt the team was not as good as their record, however, and it showed on Saturday.  Tolzien's day was a disaster.  Even though the Badgers controlled the ball for 42 out of the 60 minutes, they were consistently unable to avoid big mistakes.

When the team finally did make a good play, Tolzien was fired up.  When he went to celebrate by trying to get a high five from his teammates, they showed their disapproval for their quarterback's performance by giving him the shaft.  Not a single player on the team wanted to high five Tolzien.  As the announcers said: "He finally gave up."

Whether the players were actually trying to send a message to Tolzien or not, it is hilarious to see him aimlessly running around looking for love that no one wants to give him.  At least the fans are loyal, even if they have to go to great lengths to show it.

    1. Yeah, it showed that the team wasn’t as good as their record. I guess you don’t take into account that the OSU Defense and Special Teams along with Tolzien’s poor throws were the reason that Wisconsin lost. Pryor is horrible and Wisconsin rolled up twice as many yards as OSU. They’re a young team with a QB making his first start at the horseshoe, give them a break. Maybe they’ll get more respect when they knock off Iowa this weekend.

    2. …and that lack of teamwork and respect for each other is why they lose.

    3. John, go blow a Badger. Wisconsin sucks and Terrelle pryor could tear them a new asshole if OSU would have had a chance to have the ball.

2 defensive TDs and a TD on Special Teams… OSU did not even get the ball in the second half until like 1:30 left in the 3rd quarter.

I will agree that TP is not consistent, but he is only a Sophomore and will get better. Now go away and cry about your loss, and Iowa will whoop your ass too.

    4. Typical OSU fans, classless and a bunch of arrogant pricks. You should be thanking us for leading to the dismissal of Cooper after we embarrassed you on your home field in ONE HALF years back. I hope to God someone else besides OSU and PSU gets into the BCS so you don’t have to keep making the Big 10 look terrible. Nice representation, maybe you can get South Car. in a bowl game instead of the big boys of the SEC to embarrass your pathetic team and QB AGAIN. Guarantee the Duckeyes lose at least two more Big 10 games, MARK IT DOWN!!!!!

    5. I love it EffJohn….”Terrelle pryor could tear them a new asshole if OSU would have had a chance to have the ball”…why don’t you get a defence that can take the ball away….then you could have the ball and three-n-out it again…..

    6. You rally, you don’t put up an attitude like that. I’d bench your ass if I saw you treating fellow players like that.

What pricks. I’d never do that to my teammates no matter how much they were sucking

When people treat you like that you only play worse. Where’s the team support

    8. No “team” at all… petty pride and arrogance that keeps them from pulling out of a nose dive… till they tunnel in.

Agree that the coach needs to sit them down over this one… and have a discussion on how a team loses games, not one person.
