Bugatti Veyron Illegal Parking FAIL

46

Bugatti Veyron Parking FAILTotal Pro Sports - Unlike in North America, where exotic cars like Ferrari F40s, F50s, and Enzos are immune to all parking laws, European law enforcement officers do not look favorably upon illegally parked sports cars.  And the Bugatti Veyron is no exception.

So what happens when the driver of such a vehicle leaves his car in a non-designated parking space as he goes shopping for an Armani suit to wear to the gym?  He gets the boot.  Or, at least his car does.

You can not possibly feel bad for this guy.  In fact, you should probably envy him.  Is his car too good for the real parking spot?  Okay, so maybe it is.  But at least he will not have any problems paying the fine.

I’s just buyed ah new ones. I no like the bleck colour anywayz. You can has if you wants.

    3. the douche will probably be a typical tight ass rich person and take the fine to court and get it turned over.

    4. Everyone is just envious of the pure awesome that the Bugatti Veyron is. If you drive this vehicle you can park anywhere you want, the White House lawn, Parliament’s front steps, hell even INSIDE the Pearly Gates.

    5. I can’t belive they require a front license plate on that car

    6. i wish fines for parking violations amounted to a percentage of the market value of the violator’s car….

    7. If I were him, I’d hire someone to cut it off. Fight the power.

    8. Throw it in the gutter, and go buy another…

      Hurrrayyyyyyy SLOVAKIA!!!!!!!!

Yep ya all, this was done in the city of Bratislava, capital of SLOVAKIA.

How do I know, live here and was passing by that night.

Was amazing to see a Veyron live and the boot just made this so funny.

      lolz @ Eazy-E, i need a… new bugatti

    11. “i wish fines for parking violations amounted to a percentage of the market value of the violator’s car….”
–You are jealous!!!! You socialist loser!!

    12. Hehe, This one is Bratislava Slovakia. The owner of the car could not park in the underground garage because the car wouldn make the ramp down. So he left it up there for a week or so. He could get a smaller license plate as a sticker but it’s mandatory. ;)

    13. @Brandon – In the UK and to my knowledge most countries in Europe require you have a front and rear license plates. Although it looks ugly it makes sense to make it visible for police.

    14. at least with the boot on it takes the time out of his precious day to get it taken care of

    15. He should just try to drive away Homer Simpson style with the boot still attached.

    16. Exotic cars are immune to parking violations in North America? I didn’t know that… gonna go get me a Bugatti…

    17. LOL! Did you notice the station wagon parked next to it also got booted!

    18. Unlike north america? Doesnt have shit to do with the fact that some douches car got a boot on it but okay.

    19. A scratch on those rims could cost you 10 grand.

    20. In some Scandinavian countries traffic offences like speeding tickets and parking fines are means-tested, so if the owner is loaded then it would make a proportional dent in their wallet.

Not hard to implement, as income tax is already legally established – then financial deterrents would be much fairer.

    21. Conspicuous wealth is one of the most offensive of human traits.

    22. I would be inspecting the 50k rim for damage then be submitting a claim to the city for refinsihing. I am not saying this car is above the law, but for heavens sake this is not your average car.

I bet if the presidents Motorcade pulled up, no one would be getting a ticket. HellI don’t even mind the ticket, but the boot is pure bull shit and the parking officer should be shot and pissed on.

Can’t wait to see their faces when the bill comes in for damaging or scratching the rim! :)

    23. Pozsony (Bratislava) is an old Hungarian Town.

    24. “Conspicuous wealth is one of the most offensive of human traits.”

I have never heard such an eloquent phrasing of this sentiment.
      Good on ya DNA!

Those who think the owners deserve such unfair treatment are hypocrites!
The man obviously has fking good taste in cars and just because they have a nicer car than you it makes it ok to clamp him, but when its a poor mans car, its just a ticket. Talk about trying all you can to get more money through fines.

    26. If you look closely, the SUV in the rear also is sporting a boot.

The likely explanation is that these cars were not booted for a parking violation. Rather, the boots are there to protect the cars while they are on display.

    27. I am assuming the owner makes more money than he know what to do with. If he gets nicely delayed in the process of getting it unclamped then that will be his fine. I hope he got stuffed around a lot getting it removed.

    28. I’d do the same thing if I was the owner of the Bugatti. Why risk parking my $1.6 million car in a “regular” parking spot which is vulnerable to door dings and the like. I know for a fact that cost of the parking ticket is a hell of a lot less than the cost of repairing any damages and the diminishing value.

    29. “Conspicuous wealth is one of the most offensive of human traits.”

      So is Jealousy…. =P

    30. they prob scratched his rim…he’ll sue them, and prob win 4k

    31. KerelBort said on

most probably the best way to secure your car from being stolen..

Bratislava, Slovak Republic license plate. Nice! :-)

    33. Conspicuous wealth is one of the most offensive of human traits… Absolutely true…

    34. SkankyPanda said on

Brave traffic warden… if those wheels get scratched then they’ll have to close down the Police Station to pay for the damage. Either that or he’ll find himself “disappeared”.

    35. Cheap Tires said on

I love it. The fact is I am pretty sure this guy can afford the ticket.

    36. Hope they didn’t scratch the wheel. Heard they’re $15k each.

    37. Man, batman is going to be so pissed!

    38. I think it’s awesome that the boot fits that wheel (and presumably the wheel on a Smart). That’s what I call quality engineering!

    39. Austin Vega said on

If you drive a Bugatti you have earned the right to park wherever the fuck you want!

    40. @Kende: Not any more my friend, not anymore ;-)

      BTW sexy boot :D

    41. The driver shouldn’t have any trouble paying this ticket. Nice car though :)

    42. I guess when you spend too much money on a car, you can’t afford Valet Parking.

    43. Don’t hate on the guy because he was successful enough to buy the car. Like others before me said, he/she probably has the money to pay it off easy. Also in defense for the States, public officials take a special joy when they can boot an expensive car because they know in their hearts they’ll never have the money to get one of their own so they take out their frustration on the people that can.

    44. If one more idiot writes that “they probably scratched the wheel”….
