Twins Joe Mauer Robbed Of A Fair Ball In The 11thTotal Pro Sports - With all the drama that unfolded as the Twins booked their spot in the 2009 MLB playoffs, many believed they just may be destined to win.  After witnessing blown calls like this, that may not be the case.

With the game tied at 3-3 in the top of the 11th inning, Joe Mauer stepped to the plate and delivered a 1-1 pitch down the left field line.  Melkey Cabrera was running hard and attempted to make the catch, but the ball landed just beyond the reach of his outstretched glove, falling in fair territory.  Unfortunately umpire Phil Cuzzi didn't see things the same way.

It is tough when a player on your team blows a crucial play, but nothing can be worse in sports than when it is an official committing the costly error.  Maybe Cuzzi is out for revenge after seeing Mauer's previoous antics while on base.
