Black Ice Offers Visanthe Shiancoe A Contract

December 11, 2008

Visanthe shiancoe And Bubble Butt BbqTotal Pro Sports - If you have yet to read about Minnesota Viking, Visanthe Shiancoe exposed nude on national televison this past Sunday.  The story line gets even better today, when Black Ice LTD. An online Porn DVD store has made an "exclusive performance offer" to Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe.

"From what we’ve seen, there is definitely a career for Visanthe in the adult industry, if he’d like one,” said Black Ice general manager Tony Santoro. “We would welcome an opportunity to align ourselves with a world-class athlete of Viante’s stature."

A possible future career in the porn world for Visanthe Shiancoe, we highly doubt he will take the offer.  Even if the opportunities are endless and the pay enormous.  It's likely that Visanthe Shiancoe will finish his career as an NFL'er before attempting to step foot in another industry.

Would you turn down a possible movie contract in the porn world to star in a movie with the likes of Jenna Jameson, Eva Angel and Monique Alexander?  I highly doubt it.

Arena Football Suspending Operations

December 10, 2008

Arena Football CheerleaderTotal Pro Sports -  With no shock here the Arena Football League or otherwise known to most as the AFL are thinking about suspending operations and close their doors come the 2009 season.

With the struggles that the NBA have shown with their decline in attendance and the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes soon to file for bankruptcy.  It's only fitting that a league like the Arena Football shuts their doors completely.

If a major sport like the NHL, and the NBA can not draw fans to their game to watch some of the top athletes in the world.  How can a league like the Arena Football draw fans to watch athletes who were not good enough to make the NFL?  That's the main question here.

I remember the Toronto Phantoms, I think they were called.  For the whole 1 year they existed in Toronto, I went to watch them 0 times.  I didn't even care they existed, the only reason I ever considered watching them was to get drunk and go out somewhere Downtown after the game.

"It's just tough," Crush player Delvin Hughley said Monday night at the Denver Sports Fans Choice awards dinner. "I talked to some friends around the league. . . . We don't know. We're under a lot of pressure right now and just don't know what to do.

"Hopefully, we can come out of this thing and everything will be OK."

The Arena Football opened its doors in 1987 and has 15 organizations, by the end of this week we will definitely have seen the last of the AFL. You won't be missed!!!!1

Panthers Run Over The Bucs

December 9, 2008

Total Pro Sports - The game last night had the potential to be close and exciting division battle.  However, once it resumed after halftime it was dominated by the Panthers and their powerful rushing attack.  DeAngelo Williams and rookie Jonathan Stewart, looked like they were playing against a college defense as they ran for a total of 301 rushing yards and four touchdowns.  Their performance also marked the first time in NFL history that a pair of teammates ran for 100+ yards, 2 touchdowns and better than a 7 yards per carry average.

The Tampa Bay Bucs got huge performance out of enigmatic wide receiver Bryant Johnson, who totaled 200 yards and also added a pair of scores.  His performance was highlighted by a spectacular one handed catch in the end zone.  This catch is one of the best I've seen in a while, yet it was overshadowed by the final outcome.

The other big story of the game was Ronde Barber getting burned on consecutive plays by both Panthers backs.  Barber looked as if he has been taking tackling advice from Deon Sanders at halftime.  On one series in the fourth quarter he tried to arm tackle Stewart and was violently stiff armed to the ground.  The very next play he tried to arm tackle DeAngelo Williams, who simply ran right past him into the end zone.  Ronde Barber has had a Hall of Fame career, and even a pick in yesterdays game, but after these two plays he looked old and slow.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11

November 15, 2008

Michael JenkinsTotal Pro Sports - Earlier in the year he was a joke, but now he could carry your team. When you heard his name you may have thought of the receiver Yancey.  Common mistake. Regardless it is time to pay attention this quarterback from Coastal Carolina. Oh yes boys and girls, Tyler Thigpen. Last week Thigpen threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns against San Diego. Looking ahead, Thigpen toughest match up is Buffalo. With Dwayne Bowe and the emerging Mark Bradley, Thigpen will get to shred New Orleans, Denver and Oakland in the weeks to come.

Here’s some other Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for Week 11.

QB- Tyler Thigpen, KC- Seriously. Look at his schedule.

QB- Matt Hasselbeck, ARI- He’s been forgotten and probably available in your league. Take a flier on this former all-pro. He’s got a nice match up against the Cards.

RB- Peyton Hillis, DEN- Selvin Young? Out. Ryan Torain? Out. Andre Hall? Out. Insert tacky cliché about flies here. Then insert Peyton Hillis. He is their fullback but I bet he gets the most touches this week for the Denver ground game.

WR- Michael Jenkins, ATL- He’s been productive over the past four games. He’ll be up against Denver and will be caught up in a shoot out, which is always a good thing for a receiver.

We love the Miami Dolphins this year, they won again this week and will probably win again next week against the Oakland Raider HC "High School Club". Look for their record to improve to 6-4.

The Big Three and the Atlanta Falcons continue to impress the NFL, do you think the Falcons fans even remember they had Michael Vick on their team?..........I don't think so
