College Football Free Picks: Week 15
December 5, 2008
Total Pro Sports - The last time we came out with our free picks we finished the week at 2-1 including winning our first ever parlay. Our record for this season now sits 10-11 and our goal is to bring that record above .500. Our plan is to give our opinion on each and every bowl game once the schedule is released.
This week features a lot of Conference Championship Games. This is the best part of College Football, the games are so meaningful, bowl games are at stake and conference champions will be decided.
Let's take a look at this weeks College Football Free Picks.
1. Navy Midshipmen (-10.5, O/U 43.5) @ Army Cadets
Pick: Navy -10.5 - The annual rivalry between these two schools is always intense, but Navy has been the better and more consistent team all year. Army has struggled offensively this year, especially at the quarterback position. We like the Midshipmen to control the time of possession and sail to victory. Read more
College Football Free Picks Week 11
November 7, 2008
Total Pro Sports - Last week was another down week, we went 1-2 to bring or record to a mediocre 8-10. I cannot seem to find the touch when it comes to predicting outcomes, however, I will not quit because I know that it will eventually come.
The only game that we picked correctly last week was a matchup between conference rivals Florida and Georgia in which the line was set too high and we went against all logic. This week were back at it, trying to find the right games to lay money on.
Let's take a look at this weeks College Football Free Picks, we have introduced our first parlay of the season take a look!
1. Kansas State Wildcats @ Missouri Tigers (-27, O/U 67.5)
Pick: Over 67.5 - Josh Freeman and Chase Daniels have been among the most entertaining quarterbacks to watch this season, Saturday will be no exception. We expect these two teams to keep the scoreboard flashing all game long. Missouri still has a lot to play for as the search for a Big 12 North title and Kansas State would love to spoil their party with an upset this weekend.
College Football Free Picks Week 10
October 31, 2008
Total Pro Sports - Last week we went 2-1 which moves the overall record to 7-8. We got trapped playing a funny looking line when the over/under for the Georgia/LSU game was sitting at 50 points. It was almost like they wanted people to play that under hard and as if they knew that both defences wouldn't show up. This week we will not make the same mistake by avoiding the odd looking lines and sticking to what we know best.
There are some interesting games again this week so let take a look at this weeks College Football Free Picks for week 10, and who we will be laying money on.
1. Florida Gators (-6.5, O/U 56.5) @ Georgia Bulldogs
Pick: Florida Gators -6.5 - This line is way too big for a game of this calibre, played on a neutral site. That is why you should take the largely favored Gators, because if a line looks too good to be true then it probably is. The Gators are rolling right now and not to say that Georgia isn't playing well because they are, however they are coming off an emotional win at LSU last week and I expect them to have a let down this week. Take the favored Gators and don't make the mistake of taking the bait.
College Football Free Picks Week 9
October 25, 2008
Were back after taking a week off, let's take a look at this weeks action and attempt to come up with three College Football Free Picks that are guaranteed to make us money.
We have some interesting games now that inter-conference play is well under way, the rivalries are getting more and more intense as the games have more meaning down the stretch.
Our record now sits at 5-7, but following this week we will crack the .500 mark to move to 8-7.
Let take a look at this weeks College Football Free Picks for week 9.
1. Virginia Cavaliers @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (-14, O/U 41)
Pick: Virginia Cavaliers +14 - We like the Cavaliers this week against the upstart Yellow Jackets, the Cavaliers are coming off their biggest win of the season beating the Tar Heels in overtime. Georgia Tech is playing some of the best defence in the country, however the Cavaliers have been playing some good football themselves, winners of three straight which includes victories over Maryland, East Carolina and North Carolina. Play the points with the Cavaliers and expect a low scoring game.
NFL Free Picks: Week 4

CP's back with avengence this week, watch out Vegas I'm coming to get you with my free NFL picks for week 4. Were gonna hit you hard this week, Another 2-2 outing last week, I wont settle for nothing less the a 3-1 record this week.
Here are my week 4 free NFL picks.
Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5, O/U 44.5)
Pick: Cleveland Browns (+3.5)– In the battle of Ohio, both teams are looking for their first wins of the season. Cincinnati looked pretty good last week against the Giants taking them to overtime but eventually losing by a field goal. While Cleveland could not muster any offense against a strong Ravens D ultimately losing 28-10. Quarterback Derek Anderson will be playing for his job because if he underachieves this week, look for Brady Quinn to step in next week. I think Anderson will step up and perform well, using his weapons of Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow to put up large points on a weak Cincy D.
College Football: Free Picks, Week 4

This is the first week for my college football picks, so lets get started out on the right foot. I personally am more of a feel for the game guy rather than interpreter of the stats, I feel that numbers are a little deceiving in the college game. Week 4 has some interesting matchups lets take a look.
1. Buffalo @ Missouri (-34, O/U 72)
Pick: Buffalo/Missouri Over 72 - Missouri is the highest scoring team in the nation at 57.7 points per game. The Bulls may not be able to keep up with the efficient Mizzu offense, however, they have shown the ability to score points this year. The have scored a total of 88 points in their first three games. These two teams are averaging a combined 1025 yards per game in their first three contests, expect a shootout if the weather doesn't act up.
2. Troy @ Ohio St. (-21.5, O/U 46)
Pick: Troy Trojans +21.5 - The Buckeyes went to USC last week to play the Trojans and now they get the other Trojans from Troy in Columbus. Troy has had recent success in Div-1A since making the move up in 2001. They have stayed competitive against ranked teams in the past, Since 2004, they have nearly upset the likes of LSU, Florida St. and Georgia on the road. Take the points with an underrated Troy team.
3. Alabama (-300, O/U 46.5) @ Arkansas
Pick: Arkansas Razorbacks +300 - This is a classic rivalry between two smash mouth teams. I feel that there is value in the Razorbacks because they always play the Crimson Tide tough. They have the added advantage of their home crowd, this may be the slight edge they need to pull out a victory. Play this for value, don't lay large.
These picks are strictly my opinion all bettors are gambling at their own risk. Just kidding people you can bash me if these picks cost you money, you know where to find me (TotalProSports.com) Let's make money together.
To all Italy Fans and gamblers!
June 14, 2008
I got into this argument yesterday with a degenerate buddie so I decided it was a great post and life lesson for all gamblers out there. We wont name names here but well call this person "Don Carbs".
I called up "Don Carbs" last night to see what was going on and if he had made his way to some crazy party I was also invited to go to. When he answered I heard no noise and it seemed to be very quiet! So I proceeded to ask where he was? It seemed to me as something happend or something was wrong, all he said was he didn't want to talk.
I stopped took the phone off my ear and had to look at the name on the screen, "Don Carbs" it read, ok so I called the right person. I said are you upset Italy lost, he said "yes". I proceeded to call him a donkey and a whole other bunch of names that I would rather keep off this post. All Don Carbs said "they had to win!" I knew from those words "Don Carbs" had placed a wager on Italy for some stupid reason. All I said was how much? the phone went silent! he never responded. Lets just say, I've known him for a while so just by that I know he lost what some people could use to put as a down payment on a car. I just don't mean a Pontiac Sunfire, I mean a BMW 5 series!
I said to Don Carbs why would you bet Italy, when that's your team? Haven't you heard of the number 1 rule in sports betting? "NEVER BET YOU FAVORITE TEAM!" Again he responded like a true donkey degenerate, "But they had to win". Sometimes it just doesn't sink.
I really don't know how many times I have to tell people this and how it doesn't process in there heads, "NEVER BET YOU FAVORITE TEAM!". How can you bet on a team you like? don't you think they are always going to win? Remember a team never has to win, anything can happen in sports.
The morale of the story is "NEVER BET YOU FAVORITE TEAM!". Just go watch the game and cheer for your team to win cause you like them not cause you have money on them. This will save all you degenerates out there some money!
Pick of the day, June 6th
June 6, 2008
Yesterday's rain out came through for us pushing our overall record to 4-3 on the year.
Today were taking the same game that we took for our first play in the year, the Devil Rays/Rangers under (9.5). We lost this game back on May 26th and in the top half of the ninth inning the managed to score 3 runs to push the game over 9, now we get an extra half point to work with.
Pitching Notes
- Kazmir, who's given up two runs and struck out 33 batters over his last 33 innings, is 2-0 with a 1.86 ERA in 5 starts versus Texas.
- Padilla - 5-0 with a 2.82 ERA in his last seven starts, against the Devil Rays he is 1-2 with an 8.64 ERA.

Lakers/Celtics series dropped from Casinos
June 5, 2008
Sportsline - Don't Bet on it! Harrahs Entertainment has dropped all there betting lines from the Lakers/Boston series, becuase Gary Loveman bought 2.4% share in the Boston Celitcs last year.
Under NBA rules, Harrahs is barred from accepting wagers becasue there is a conflict of interest. This means that 13 properties in Nevada alone will not be accepting wagers on the NBA finals.
Pick of the day, June 4th
June 4, 2008
Last nights pick ended our hot streak, I guess we gave Brad Penny to much credit for what he did in the past. We will give credit to Jeff Francis "The Canadian Boy" for pitching a gem on the road. He reminded me of the pitcher he was last year. Hopefully, when the Rockies fianlly become healthy they can start playing the way they did last year.
Todays pick were taking the St. Louis Caridnals (-118). The pitching matchup Cardinals Wellemeyer (6-1, 3.16) vs Nationals Lannan (4-5, 3.52).
Again were going with the away favorite it seems to be a trend in our picks lately, but will go with whats working for us. The Cardinals are 5-0 this year against the struggling and injured Nationals. The Cardinals are also 5-0 against National League East opponents, while the Nationals are 8-10 against Central teams. The Nationals also have a losing record at going 13-16, while the Cardinals are 14-12 on the road.
Pitching Notes
- Wellemeyer is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA and a save in seven relief appearances against Washington (24-35).
- Lannan's only career start against the Cardinals on April 6 resulted in a 3-0 loss as he allowed two runs and seven hits in 6 2-3 innings.
