Chris “CB4″ Bosh….MVP Or Bust?
December 1, 2008
Total Pro Sports - Chris "CB4" Bosh has recently revealed a secret to all Toronto sports fans after his last practice. Manny cameras, notepads and video recorders were all waiting anxiously for this big announcement. What was CB4 gonna tell the world? Was he going to ask for a trade? Was he going to hang up his shoes? Nobody really knew what this was all about.
Chris Bosh has been keeping this secret for the longest time now. He came out and told the media that he wants to be the MVP of the league this year.
Bosh made himself perfectly clear when he answered the follow up "Realistic?" query with his best, "Do I look like I'm kidding?" stare.
"Very realistic. I wouldn't talk about it if it wasn't real," he said.
According to Chris Bosh he really first started thinking about this goal after coming off a Gold Medal Victory with the American Basketball team in the Olympics. Bosh played a prominent role this past summer playing alongside other superstars in LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard.

Kobe Bryant Jumps Over A Car?
October 18, 2008
Total Pro Sports - DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!! If you have yet to see this video/commercial, this is just crazy, Kobe Bryant "I Got This" of the Los Angeles Lakers, jumps over an Aston Martin in a parking lot. What looks to be his sidekick "Ronnie Turiaf" former member of the Los Angeles Lakers is there witness it all. Sicko's or just video editing, which ever one it is this video kept me in awe.
A great viral marketing campaign for NIKE, they are sure to sell a boatload of those NIKE shoes that Kobe Bryant is wearing. Everyone will think they can jump over cars driving at 65 M/HR. I'm going out to Footlocker now to buy my pair!
In honesty, a guy making hundreds of millions dollars, probably wouldn't risk his life and career just to film a video or commercial. It didn't matter how much you pay me, I wouldn't JUST DO IT! Nike.
Shaq spits fire
June 24, 2008
In response to a recent posting on this site, I want to give my opinion on Shaqs rap about Kobe Bryant.
In true Hip Hop fashion the Big Diesel ripped into the reigning league MVP in a humorous and entertaining fashion. I loved every second of Shaqs rap; I hope he records it one day. Maybe, it should become the new entrance theme for the Boston Celtics at home games. I think that everything he said was true, especially that Kobe can’t win without him. I have always liked Shaq a lot more than Kobe because he was at one time a better player and will always be a better person. Shaq is everything Kobe is not, he is a good teammate, not a very good free throw shooter, but is funnier than Mrs. Bryant.
One of my favorite parts of the song was when Shaq ripped on Puffy. I liked this part because Puffy and Kobe are similar in their annoyingness. In fact, they are also similar in that they have made successful careers for each other by riding the coattails of bigger stars.
The unfortunate side to the story is that Shaq may have made a mistake by using less then appropriate language in the rap, but the Big Aristotle is still one of the most unique and entertaining personalities in all of sports. Kobe, on the other hand, is the little brother who always gets picked on and goes home crying when things don’t go his way.
You’re not Jordan! NBA Finals Game 6
June 18, 2008
This display of emotions proves that sporting events are more than a show, and some players are there for more then the money. They are playing a game they love, trying to achieve greatness, and last night the Celtics were great. Many times players leave a legacy behind long after they retire, a legacy that survives not only in the stat books but also, in the minds and hearts of their fans. One day I will be able to tell my children I was there when the big man in green won it all and explained to the world that “Anything is possible.”
Down 3 to 1 the Lakers are Done!
June 13, 2008
The biggest comeback in NBA playoff history happened tonight at the Staples Center in L.A., and I’m glad to say that the Celtics were on the winning end of it. It seemed that the Lakers didn’t bother showing up for the third quarter and Boston took full advantage and eventually won the game even though they were down by 24 at one point.
After watching the game, one play that stood out in my mind happened during the last minute as Ray Allen was isolated against Sasha “The Machine” Vujacic. It looked like “The Machine” forgot to go for an oil change before the game because he stalled badly when Allen drove past him and made a key field goal.
I wish I could feel sorry for the Lakers as they are fighting for their playoff lives against the Celtics, but I don’t. Kobe is getting what he deserves as he is being exposed a player who can’t get it done without another superstar at his side. I always thought of Kobe as Robin and Shaq as Batman, now it seems all he has to help him is Batgirl (Gasol) and Catwoman (Odom), and that simply won’t get it done. I think the Lakers might take the next game at home and the series should end in six games when the Celtics return to their home court.
The Celtics showed a lot of grit and determination in the game tonight. The most important quality that was evident in the game was their ability to work as team and fight through adversity, something the Lakers and specifically Kobe cannot do.

Celtics will take control
June 12, 2008
Tonight is game 4 of the NBA finals and it is make or break time for Lakers. If the Celtics win tonight, the series is done as they would have a choke hold on the Lakers, However, if the Lakers win it is a brand new series. I have a strong feeling that the Celtics will win tonight because they usually don’t lose back to back games. Also, Garnett and Piece had bad games and they should look to rebound well in game 4.
One wildcard in tonight’s game to watch out for is the health of Rajon Rondo. If he is hurting Doc Rivers has indicated that he will have to play the seldom used Tony Allen at the point position. If Rondo is out or limited in any way during the game it could be very bad news for a team with little depth at the point guard position. Other than Allen, the other guards on the roster are Eddie House and E.T. (Sam Cassell).
I really hope that the Lakers lose tonight because they haven’t played all that well. Aside from Kobe, the other big name players on the Lakers have soiled the bed lately. Specifically, the over hyped Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom, last game they combined for a grand total of 13 points, which is garbage. If both of these guys play that bad again game four will easily go to the Celtics. The smart money tonight is on the Celtics, who will win and take control of the series.
The Big Three vs. Kobe
June 1, 2008
The NBA finals is upon us, and in a match up sure to give commissioner David Stern a boner it is the Lakers vs. Celtics. In a rematch of old rivals instead of Bird vs. Magic this series sees the big ticket go against the big baby, and I’m not talking about Glen Davis. I’m referring to Kobe Bryant, the leagues reigning MVP (should have been Chris Paul) and the leagues biggest baby. The Lakers have looked amazing during this year’s playoff run, but I would love for nothing more then to see them lose in the finals to Boston.
I hate seeing the same team and players win multiple championships, but more then that I can’t stand Kobe. On the other hand I think Garnett is way more deserving then Bryant because he seems like more of a team player and the only thing missing from his career is a championship ring. It would be nice to watch Kobe Bryant sulk on the bench and yell at his teammates while the Lakers lose the series; however the opposite also has a very good chance at happening.
In order for the Celtics to win someone has to call Ray Allen and tell him that he can start playing because they have made it to the finals. Along with Allen, if he shows up, Garnett and Pierce should give the Lakers a lot of trouble in the series. When looking at the rosters on paper both teams seem to have a lot of depth on their respective benches. One major factor to consider is that the Celtics have home court advantage which has proved to be important in the playoffs so far.
Kobe, I hope you prove once again that you can’t win a title without Shaq or with Pau Gasol.
