Played at one of the oldest locations to date, built in the 1930's the original Cleveland Municipal Stadium stood. Cleveland Municipal Stadiumhosted the Cleveland Indians of the MLB and the Cleveland Browns. When the team and owner Art Modell failed to reach an agreement with the city of Cleveland to build an new state of the art facility. The Cleveland Browns in 1995 packed there bags and moved to Baltimore.
The brown and orange would not be lost forever, in 1996 the city of Cleveland and the National Football League worked out a deal. By 1999 the Cleveland Browns would again be playing in the NFL and with the original Brown and Orange colors.
All of the Browns history stayed at the same orginal location, Cleveland Municipal Stadium was demolished and on the exact same site the new stadium would be built. The Browns did not sell their naming rights like most NFL teams and kept true to their fans Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Cleveland Browns Stadium seats over 72000 fans, including a bleacher seat sections that seats 10000 fans and is named "The Dawg Pound", 2 large scoreboards are also present at each end zone. Amenities include a Cleveland Browns team store, the Browns Hall Of Fame, and a sports grill names "Legends". Along with these great amenities excellent views of Lake Erie and Downtown Cleveland can be seen from inside the stadium.
