With only seconds remaining in Game 2, he was the victim of an unnecessary clothesline from Ron Artest, which resulted in a one game suspension for the Lakers’ forward.  In Game 4, it was Andrew Bynum dishing out the punishment, as he delivered a vicious elbow to the body of Barea as the six-foot guard drove to the lane in the fourth quarter of the Mavs’ 122-86 blowout victory.

Bynum was ejected from that game following what ESPN’s Mike Tirico described as “one of the biggest bush league things” he has ever seen.

Here is a look at Bynum’s classless act, which may very well be his last play in a Lakers’ uniform.  Good riddance to bad sportsmanship.

Bynum was an unstoppable force against the Suns on Thursday night. He cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds. He protected the paint and denied the Suns with 3 blocked shots. And while Kobe had more points, Bynum helpd lead the Laker offense with 26 points on 13-18 shooting from the floor. He missed all 3 of his free throws, so he could have tied Kobe for the team lead with 29 points. It all added up to a 121-102 Lakers win.

The Lake Show are now 7-1 and on top of the Western Conference. With Kobe and Bynum as the NBA’s new dynamic duo, the Lakers may be holding the trophy again come June. Bynum is now averaging 21 points and over 11 rebounds per game. For his dominating performance last night, he gets “The Stat Line of the Night” for 11/12/09.

The two first reportedly met at Baron Davis’ birthday bash last Friday night and since have been spotted eating dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

The couple dined at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. When they left together, a witness reports that they looked “very couple-y, sitting real close to each other in the car.”

I guess it pays to be young, famous and loaded!!!!! Good work Andrew.

“I ran into Bynum on Friday on the golf course. In all fairness, he made a point NOT to golf (contrary to what Sports Center reported). He spent most of the time sitting at the clubhouse and I had to convince him to get up from his table and visit a few of the tees to hang out. He was trying not to draw too much media attention to what was just a harmless day of fun.”

Young, famous and loaded a lethal triple combination!!!!!!  We will just have to wait and see what his Lakers teammates and coach Phil Jackson will have to say about this one?

UPDATE:  Andrew Bynum Does The Hula-Hoop Rehab At The Playboy Mansion

Total Pro Sports – I guess Andrew Bynum’s knee is 100% ready for game action. Bynum was spotted carrying a Playboy model on his shoulders during a pajamas and lingerie party at the Playboy Mansion on Sunday.

Coach Phil Jackson said recently that Bynum could be at least a few weeks away from returning. Now, I’m no doctor, of course, but at the Playboy Mansion on Saturday, the Lakers’ 7-foot center looked to be well on the road to recovery.

While his Lakers were losing to the Hawks 86-76, Andrew Bynum partied like a Rock star.  At the he was wearing a pimped out green smoking jacket and slippers. Isnt it nice being ‘injured’ and not having to travel with the team because he had to attend the pajamas and lingerie party?

He picked up Playmate Nicole Narain and placed her on his shoulders and got somebody to take a picture with his digital camera.

Upper-body strength, check.

He hopped over a velvet rope near the DJ booth so he could take a picture with Narain and other Playmates who ended up sitting on his lap.

• Jumping ability, check.

He sidestepped a few of the roaming cameras and got down with some Playmates on the checkered dance floor set up in the backyard.

• Lateral movement, check.

Later, with lines around the bar getting longer, he pulled out a bottled beverage from one pocket and four plastic cups from another and offered up drinks to three Playmates who were with him.

• Ability to adjust to game situations, check.

In professional athletes contracts it should be written that if they are injured and rehabbing an injury, they should be at home resting and not partying like Andrew Bynum at the Playboy Mansion. Yes, a party like this should never be turned down, but if your getting paid millions of dollars to play a sport then you shouldn’t be out partying if your injured and can’t travel with your team.

Wallace tried driving the lane on Lakers center Andrew Bynum, who then threw out his hip and arm to try and defend the basket.  After reviewing the video a couple times we have determined that the Bynum hit is not as bad as everyone seems to be making it.  Yes, we agree that Bynum is not being cautious for the driving Wallace, but worse things have happened. If you watch the video Bynum goes and gives Wallace his hand to help him up.  If he would have bear hugged him and kissed him on the head like Shaq, then everything would have been different.

I disagree totally with Rick, if Wallace would have jumped right up from the hit nothing would have been said about the foul.  But because Gerald Wallace is hurt, Andrew Bynum is the bad guy.  The problem in the NBA is that a little touch on the body and they blow for a foul.  They should allow a little contact in the game, it would make it that more interesting.
