Anthony Davis played one season of college basketball at the University of Kentucky where he was named first-team All-American and helped lead Kentucky to a National Championship. He opted for the 2012 NBA Draft where he was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans as the first overall draft pick. He became the youngest player to score at least 59 points in an NBA game.
In 2019 Davis was traded to the Lakers, and alongside Lebron James, he helped lead the Lakers to the 2020 NBA Finals where they beat the Miami Heat. Davis became the first player to win an NCAA title, an Olympic Gold Medal, a FIBA World Cup Gold Medal, and an NBA Championship.
