One fan was able to provide us with the latter during a Rugby World Cup match between Argentina and England, and he also appeared to be willing to show of his breasts (not incredible breasts) and the rest of his body, as he ran across the field naked following a converted kick by Argentina.

Thankfully, either the camera didn’t zoom in enough, or his package was simply to small to make the following video ‘not safe for work.’ So here is a look at the SFW video of the Rugby World Cup streaker.

If you don’t believe me, we’ve provided you with both videos below so that you can make the comparison for yourself. Here they are

First, the regular version.

There is no denying the fact that Lionel Messi is currently the greatest soccer player in the world. Any individual from any country will agree with that assessment…except for an Argentinean.

For as long as he has been representing his country on the international level, the people of Argentina have continued to argue that Messi’s best only comes out when he is playing for his club team, Barcelona. The numbers would certainly indicate that. In 59 career appearances for the Argentine national team, Messi has recorded only 17 goals, an average of one every 3.47 games. In 177 career appearances with Barcelona, he has recorded 119 goals, an average of one every 1.48 games. Add to that the fact that he has won five La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies with Barcelona, and zero Copa Americas or FIFA World Cups with Argentina, and it is clear why the Argentine people have grown tired of watching Leo winning trophy after trophy with the Catalans while bringing nothing home to Argentina.

Well if that is the way Argentina feels, Brazil has a solution to their problems:

Make Messi a Brazilian citizen!

Brazilian journalist Renato Maurício Prado of the newspaper Meia Hora has begun circulating a petition to make Messi one of their own. In his own words, “If the Argentinians don’t want Messi, they can send him over to us.” He even went so far as to create a photoshopped image with Messi’s face on a Brazilian passport (see image above).

For some time now, the people of Argentina have grown accustomed to calling Messi an Argentine when he is at his best, and a Catalan when he is at his worst. If they don’t watch out, it may not be long before they are calling him a Brazilian, no matter how good or bad he is playing.

Hat Tip – [Hit The Post]

During my lifetime I feel as though I have watched thousands of soccer players send attempts on goal at least 3o feet wide of the target, but never have I seen the world’s greatest player, Lionel Messi, suffer from the same lack of accuracy as the rest of his less-talented counterparts. Last night he stooped to that level.

The daemons that have haunted Messi during his international career with Argentina remain, as he and his Argentine teammates have struggled mightily during the 2011 Copa America tournament. Despite entering the tournament as the host country and a heavy favorite among bookmakers, the Albicelestes have managed only two draws in their first two games against Bolivia and Colombia.

Last night they were unable to record even a single goal against Colombia, and were lucky not to surrender a few against. The Argentine media has feasted on their national team’s struggles, and Messi appears to be bearing the brunt of the criticism. This erratic free kick attempt, which wouldn’t have hit a net four times the size of a regulation soccer goal, wont silence the critics anytime soon.

After losing the first leg of their two-legged relegation playoff 2-0, River Plate needed a convincing victory on Sunday, but they would fall well short of that goal, managing only a draw. That resulted in their relegation to Argentina’s second division, causing fans to hurl objects at the players. Police responded by turning the fire hoses on the rowdy fans.

The violence then spilled outside Monumental Stadium, as the Argentine people did their best to show Vancouver citizens how real hooligans riot. Fearing the worst, nearly 2,200 police were deployed to control what was expected to be a rowdy crowd, but despite their greatest efforts, the River Plate fans were still able to light bins and vehicles on fire and loot stores in downtown Buenos Aires. Police responded by firing rubber bullets and tear gas at those causing the chaos. In the end at least 55 people, including 35 officers, were injured in the madness.

Here is a look at what transpired following the game.

Lionel Messi has drawn many comparisons to Maradona over the course of his career, and on 18 April 2007, he replicated Maradona’s “Goal of the Century” by dancing around six Getafe players in a similar fashion before sliding the ball into the net.

On Monday, in honor of the 25th anniversary of Maradona’s “Hand of God” goal, Messi figured he would try to replicate that one as well during an international friendly against Albania. Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t hide his hands as well as Maradona, but we can’t blame him for at least attempting to pay tribute to his former international coach.

Argentina’s version of “Dancing with the Stars,” on the other hand, seems to have the right idea. Mike Tyson performing a Latin pop dance with a gorgeous Latina babe? Now that is must see television! So what is ABC waiting for? Let’s get Tyson back in America and on a dance floor immediately!

This incident was just one of many for Diego, as he battled substance abuse throughout most of his career. Just a couple of years later at the 1994 World Cup, Maradona would once again test positive, this time for five variants of ephedrine, which is a stimulant that is banned by soccer’s international governing body.

Despite all of his problems off the field, Diego Maradona was a great soccer player and remains an icon in his home country.

Here is Maradona’s great goal against England during the 1986 World Cup.

Prior to an international friendly soccer match between the USA and Argentina in New Jersey on Saturday, the fans at the Meadowlands were asked to share in a moment of silence for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. To most of those in attendance, that meant paying their proper respects to those who lost their lives during this tragedy, but to others it meant an opportunity to show just how disrespectful human beings can be at times.

Leading that charge was one man who figured it would be a good time to yell “Konnichiwa Bitches” (0:36 mark). Stay classy America!
