And then, with his team basking in the glory of a very unlikely win moments after the game’s final whistle, Brisbane’s Besart Berisha took part in the manliest act you will ever see on a soccer pitch; he ripped off his shirt and tugged on the arm of Sydney’s Pascal Bosschaart, inviting him back to the locker room for a fight, mano-a-mano.

Bosschaart seemed confused at first, but when he and his teammates realized what Berisha’s intentions were, they all made their way towards the tunnel, resulting in some pushing and shoving, but nothing more.

You can watch all of the action from the final minutes of this exciting game unfold in the video below.

That was likely on the mind of 29 teams in the NHL when Sidney Crosby recorded two goals and two assists in his return to the Penguins’ line-up on November 20th, and it seems to have been on the mind of DJ Steve Porter when he was creating his “Sidney Crosby Comeback Remix” for CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada telecast this past weekend.

Crosby has become known for his rather dull press conferences an interviews with the media, with many believing that he often holds back in an effort to avoid any bad publicity. Perhaps he could use the services of DJ Steve Porter to make all of his interviews with the media a little more entertaining. It seemed to work well with these otherwise dull audio clips.

With Nate Marquardt failing his physical and subsequently being fired by the UFC, the match between Cheick Kongo and Pat Barry was bumped up into the main event slot for UFC Live 4. For those who thought Marquardt’s absence would have a damaging affect on the entertainment value of this card, think again.

Not only did Marquardt’s replacement, Charlie Brenneman, come away with a surprise victory over Rick Story, but the bout between Kongo and Barry would go on to provide MMA fans with one of the greatest finishes in the history of the sport.

Many expected both heavyweight fighters to come out punching, and they did just that. However, it was Barry that was getting the best of his opponent, as he dropped Kongo with an overhead right midway through the first round. Kongo has visibly shaken but somehow managed to withstand Barry’s flurry of punches over the course of the next 20 seconds. There were several moments when it seemed as though referee Dan Miragliotta would, and should, stop the fight, but he allowed Kongo the opportunity to battle through it, and it paid off, as a desperate right hand from the French fighter landed square on Barry’s jaw, knocking him out cold and giving Kongo one of the most improbable victories in UFC history.

Watching this fight live, I couldn’t believe Dan Miragliotta was allowing Kongo to continue to endue such a beating, but I guess that is why he is the one in the octagon officiating the bout and I am the one at home on the couch watching it.

Here is a look at how it all unfolded during last night’s main event.

The biggest comeback in NBA playoff history happened tonight at the Staples Center in L.A., and I’m glad to say that the Celtics were on the winning end of it. It seemed that the Lakers didn’t bother showing up for the third quarter and Boston took full advantage and eventually won the game even though they were down by 24 at one point.

After watching the game, one play that stood out in my mind happened during the last minute as Ray Allen was isolated against Sasha “The Machine” Vujacic. It looked like “The Machine” forgot to go for an oil change before the game because he stalled badly when Allen drove past him and made a key field goal.

I wish I could feel sorry for the Lakers as they are fighting for their playoff lives against the Celtics, but I don’t. Kobe is getting what he deserves as he is being exposed a player who can’t get it done without another superstar at his side. I always thought of Kobe as Robin and Shaq as Batman, now it seems all he has to help him is Batgirl (Gasol) and Catwoman (Odom), and that simply won’t get it done. I think the Lakers might take the next game at home and the series should end in six games when the Celtics return to their home court.

The Celtics showed a lot of grit and determination in the game tonight. The most important quality that was evident in the game was their ability to work as team and fight through adversity, something the Lakers and specifically Kobe cannot do.
