With the score tied at 70-70 and just 9.9 seconds remaining in last night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, Kobe Bryant took a moment to have a word with former Lakers’ forward Lamar Odom as the two teams came out of a timeout.

So what did Kobe have to say to Lamar? Was he telling him he should have never left Los Angeles? Was he asking Lamar how his wife, Khloe, is doing? Or was he simply telling Lamar that he was going to help his team win the game, and there was nothing that he or any of his Mavericks teammates could do about it?

While this may still be a mystery, I am going to go on the assumption that Kobe was saying the latter to Odom, and seconds after he assisted on Derek Fisher’s game-winning three-pointer, Bryant gave a look back to Lamar as if to say, “I told you so.”

Truth be told, after spending the last seven years playing beside “the Black Mamba,” I’m sure Lamar was already well aware of the fact that Kobe would find a way to get it done in the dying seconds. But he probably didn’t expect him to do so by passing up the shot.

Here is a look at what went down during the final seconds of last night’s game between the Lakers and the Mavs.

As for those of you who are interested in finding out more about the lockout, the Taiwanese animation crew has provided us with an in-depth look at what has taken place behind the scenes, which apparently includes a one-on-one game between David Stern and Derek Fisher, LeBron James getting dunked on in Taiwan (which actually happened), and Stern marrying another man.

We aren’t quite sure what to make of all of this, so we’ll let you watch the following video and figure it out for yourself. Good Luck!

A perfect example of Derek’s devotion to his family and his dedication to his teammates came in 2007 when he announced his daughter had a rare form of eye cancer. Fisher would be by his daughter’s side in New York while she underwent surgery and then later that day would fly to Salt Lake City to play in his Utah Jazz’s Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinal against the Golden State Warriors.

Derek would arrive to the game late in the third quarter to a standing ovation. He would help send the game into overtime and would hit a late three pointer to seal the victory for the Jazz giving them a 2-0 series lead.

Here is Fisher hitting a 3 pointer to seal the game

Total Pro Sports – Throughout last season’s NBA playoffs we were treated to some great shooting from several different players. While LeBron James was busy draining buckets off the court, Derek Fisher was doing so on it. Now with the season over, he has one-upped James in the trick shot department.

In Los Angeles to promote an upcoming 3 on 3 tournament, Fisher attempted to hit a bucket from 33-feet away. Doesn’t seem like much, but when you add the fact that he was up on the balcony at the Nokia Plaza, his accomplishment becomes that much more impressive. Take that LeBron!

The man they call D-fish has made a career out of big 3-point shooting in the NBA finals. The only players who have hit more threes than him in finals history are Robert Horry and some guy named Michael Jordan.
