Gael Monfils Is Party Rockin’ In Buenos Aires (Video)

During the 2011 ATP season, Frenchman Gael Monfils compiled a 38-16 record, won one tournament, reached two finals, and he climbed as high as seventh in the rankings before eventually finishing the year ranked 15th. It was the fourth consecutive year that he has finished the year ranked in the ATP’s top 15, and that was reason enough for him to celebrate with some shuffling to the tune of LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” during warm-ups prior to his match at the Copa Argentina in Buenos Aires this past weekend.

If only Monfils could display this type of footwork during his matches. It may be just what he needs to get over the hump and finally reach his first ever Grand Slam finals.

Monfils And Dimitrov Bring Post-Match Kissing To The Men’s Game (Video)

The post-match double kiss has long been a fixture in women’s tennis, but with gay tolerance rising throughout America and more people pushing for gender and sexual equality, it may finally be time for the post-match kiss to make its way into the men’s game.

Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov and France’s Gael Monfils did their part to introduce the new post-match ritual to the men’s game last night when the two of them met at the net following their first round match at the US Open.

Sure, it may have been a bit awkward, but I’m sure all the men will eventually get better at it with some practice.

Rafael Nadal Kissed By A Man And He Liked It

Total Pro Sports – It may sound like a Katy Perry song, but last night following his triumph in the US Open quarterfinals, Rafael Nadal was kissed by a man, and he seemed to like it.

After losing the first set to Gael Monfils, Nadal stormed back to take the next three sets, winning the match 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 6-1, 6-3. That was enough to get him excited, but he wasn’t the only one. As Nadal rounded up his racquets and towels, a fan found his way onto the court and was able to get right beside Nadal. He gave the Spaniard a hug and kiss before being grabbed by security.

As for Nadal’s reaction, he showed that his calm under pressure extends beyond his tennis game. Rafael embraced the fan and even went after him to give another hug as he was being escorted off the court.

The incident was similar to that of Jimmy Jump’s confrontation with Roger Federer at the French Open, but this fan was kind enough to wait until the conclusion of the match.

Rafael has been known to be quite popular among the ladies. It is simply a shame for him that it was one of his male fans who fulfilled their dreams of locking lips with the world’s number two tennis player.
