13 Worst Super Bowl Commercials Of All Time

I really wanted to do a list of great Super Bowl commercials for today. But this year, like the game itself, the commercials really weren’t all that exciting. And in fact, many of them were pretty stupid. So, lacking inspiration, I scrapped the plan to recap the best commercials and instead decided to do a list of shame featuring the worst Super Bowl commercials of all time.

Now, there are a lot of things that can make a Super Bowl commercial bad. It might be too corny or too serious; too bizarre or too boring; too racist or too sexist; too many talking dogs or too few. Or maybe the product or service being advertised is just plain dumb.

But why am I explaining this? You know a stupid Super Bowl commercial when you see it. So let’s just jump right in.

Danica Patrick is Weird Science (Super Bowl Commercial)

After I saw Weird Science for the first time, I dreamt that I could get a hot 80′s babe to come make me feel good about myself. After seeing the latest Danica Patrick, GoDaddy.com, 80′s-styled commercial, I was instantly reminded of Weird Science and all the things I’d do for a skimpily clad Danica P. lookalike to bust through my bedroom door and tell me buying funny domain names isn’t such a bad thing.Yes, I’ve been watching this Danica Patrick commercial on repeat for several hours hoping it’ll come true. The commercial is a pre-released Super Bowl ad for GoDaddy.com and if you don’t know what Weird Science is or who Danica Patrick is then you have a couple things to brush up on this weekend. For Danica, all you really need to know is that she’s the first woman to win the Indy 500 NASCAR race and she is attractive.

These GoDaddy ads leave a lot to be desired. Of course, it never hurts to have the gorgeous 27-year old driver wearing anything less than the regularly stuffy looking NASCAR jackets. It also beats her signing men’s boobies in said jackets.

Enjoy the commercial, but I ask that you act surprised when you see it during the Super Bowl– we don’t want to get in trouble.

LPGA Star Anna Rawson Joins The Go Daddy Girls

Total Pro Sports – LPGA star and model from Australia Anna Rawson has been signed by Go Daddy Inc. and will join the Go Daddy Girls as its newest spokeswoman. Anna will join the list of Go Daddy girls that include Poker player Vanessa Rousso, auto racer Danica Patrick, model Candice Michell.

“She is edgy, she is fun, she is hotter than firecrackers, she is very clever, and everything we look for in a Go Daddy Girl,” Chief Executive Officer Bob Parsons said at a news conference at Phoenix’s Papago Golf Course.

Ann Rawson, will wear the Go Daddy logo while on the links and star in 2 Go Daddy commercials that will be shot in the next couple of months. Rawson is excited about the deal,

“I couldn’t have signed with a more dynamic company,” she said.

Our hats go off to Bob Parsons the CEO of Go Daddy on such brilliant signings.
