Members of the media in attendance throughout the week say that the intensity was much higher on Thursday, and that led to quite a few skirmishes, none more notable than the one between Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey and Texans linebacker DeMeco Ryans.

After dropping a pass, Ryans got into the face of Shockey.  A few pushes were exchanged before both men threw each other to the ground and members of both teams came to the rescue.  Just a guess, but I think Ryans was likely making fun of Shockey and his Vegas mishap.

Thought that training camp wasn’t entertaining?  Think Again.

You can bet DeMeco would have rather laid Shockey out though, much like Jykine Bradley did to Rob Bagg.

Posing with Jeremy Shockey himself, pictures were taken of this hottie sporting the jersey of the Saints’ tight end.  Only problem is she didn’t pay for this one.  Instead, she had it spray-painted on.  Seems like the paint was running out when they got to her breasts.  As for her friend?  Let’s just assume she isn’t the jersey type.  Some little symbols are all that was needed, leaving little for the imagination.

Let me make one thing clear.  Spray painted jerseys are the greatest thing since sliced bread!  With a body like that, I don’t know why a woman would ever want to pay for such memorabilia.  Judging by Shockey’s face, I think the players like them too.

Reports indicate that Shockey was found unconscious Sunday afternoon at the party and was accordingly wheeled out on a stretcher by paramedics and taken to the hospital.  He would later be released and was said to be “in good shape now.”

Shockey was attending the afternoon party called “Rehab” with several teammates.  The good news room all this?  It’s always nice to hear when sports athletes or celebrities attend the party “Rehab”, rather than the actual thing.  For Shockey, who knows.  It may just be a matter of time.

1. Jeremy Shockey

The fact that the Giants won the Superbowl without this guy says a lot about his fantasy value. He was considered a stud at the TE position, now he has fallen from the top. If you feel confident then maybe you want to take a chance on the guy. He has a chance to produce some numbers, but there should be better options available for your team on draft day.

2. Bo Scaife

The former college teammate of Vince Young at Texas and current Titans tight end was once considered a solid sleeper pick. This past off-season the Titans picked up veteran Algae Crumpler from the Atlanta Falcons and solidified the starting TE position. This move should be reason enough for this guy’s value to decrease significantly.

3. Randy McMichael

Randy had some solid years in Miami, which made him one of the best TEs in fantasy at one time. Since joining the Rams he has fallen off the radar. He is a victim of playing on team which has some high profile pass catchers and also of being asked to stay on the line of scrimmage and block. It seems that his best days are behind him, so stay away.

4. Eric Johnson

When Johnson played for the 49ers he looked to have the skills to be the next great TE in the NFL. In the years since Vernon Davis drove him out of town he has never recaptured his faded glory. Johnson, who now plays for New Orleans, has the team around him to be successful; it just seems that his body has worn down.

5. Marcedes Lewis

I almost didn’t want to put Lewis’ name here because he still is relatively new to the NFL. He was a first round draft pick and is yet to prove to the Jags that he deserved to be. In fact, his former UCLA teammate and current Jaguars teammate, Maurice Jones Drew, has been a much better player overall. Although they play very different positions the differences in production between the two is staggering. I hope he proves me wrong and has a good year.
