<p>That may all change following an incident during Saturday night&#8217;s game against the Houston Rockets, as the Timberwolves&#8217; power forward, who usually does his damage above the rim, was inflicting some damage on the Rockets&#8217; <strong>Luis Scola</strong> well below the rim when he stomped on his face while heading up the court.  Love was not called for a foul on the play during the game, but he has since been handed <a title="Love suspended two games for stomp on Houston's Scola" href="http://www.nba.com/2012/news/02/06/love-suspended/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2" target="_blank">a two-game suspension</a> for the act.</p>
<p>Does the punishment fit the crime?  Take a look at the video below and judge for yourself.</p>

<p>Leading the charge, as you&#8217; probably expect, was Love, who recorded 31 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks on the night.  That impressive all-around performance was a key factor in the Timberwolves&#8217; 105-90 victory over the Mavs.</p>
<p>While the win may not be enough to earn Love a ring at the moment, it does earn him &#8221; The Stat Line of the Night&#8221; for Wednesday, January 25, 2012.</p>

<p>You can now make that 13 straight games with a double-double, as Love posted an impressive 33 points and 11 rebounds during last night&#8217;s game.  He would also add three assists and two steals, as the Timberwolves earned the 99-86 victory, bumping their record to 5-8 on the season.</p>
<p>Love currently finds himself ranked in the NBA&#8217;s top five in points and rebounds this season, and last night&#8217;s impressive performance has helped him earn &#8220;The Stat Line of the Night&#8221; for Monday, January 16, 2012.</p>

<p>Members of both the NBA and NFL have come together to form the company &#8220;Lockout Professionals.&#8221;  From carpentry to Bar Mitzvah DJs, these guys do it all for the affordable(?) price of $9,000,000.99, which is somewhere around the amount of money that many of them stand to lose if their upcoming seasons are cancelled.</p>
<p>If you are in need of help, give them a call at 1-800-LOCKOUT and you could find <strong>Blake Griffin</strong>, <strong>Kevin Love</strong>, <strong>Tyson Chandler </strong>or <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Ron Artest</span> <strong>Metta World Peace </strong>at your doorstep within minutes.</p>
<p>Luckily for <strong>Adrian Peterson</strong>, it appears as though the NFL is only days away from ending their lockout.</p>

<p>Heading into last night&#8217;s game against the Pacers, Love had recorded 51 straight double-doubles, good enough to tie him with <strong>Moses Malone</strong> for the longest streak since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976.  He would pass the Hall of Famer with a 16 point, 21 rebound performance during a 101-75 home victory over Indiana.</p>
<p>Love wasted little time accomplishing the feat, reaching double-figures in both points and rebounds with just under seven minutes to play in the first half.  Dealing with a bruised left knee, Love would only play 27 minutes, but that was all he needed to earn the record, the victory, and our &#8220;Stat Line of the Night&#8221; for Wednesday, March 9, 2011.</p>

<p>By the time the first half buzzer sounded, Love had already reached the 20/10 mark.  He was at the 30/20 mark by the end of the third quarter, and he eventually finished with an incredible 37 points and 23 rebounds, with seven of those rebounds would come at the offensive end.  Love would also go to the charity stripe a total of 23 times, making good on 18 of those attempts, while hitting 3 of 4 from three-point range.</p>
<p>A fifth-overall pick in the 2008 NBA entry draft, Love had a rather quite first two seasons of his career, but he has made plenty of noise in his third season, averaging 21 points and 15.5 rebounds.  His 37 points and 23 rebounds last night was his fourth 30/20 performance of the season, leaving him only one behind <strong>Shaq</strong>, who recorded five 30/20 games during the 1999-2000 season.  With 22 games remaining this season, Love may still have time to catch &#8220;The Big Diesel&#8221;, but for now he earns our &#8220;Stat Line of the Night&#8221; for Sunday, February 27, 2011.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<p class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">1. <strong>Bulls</strong>- <strong>Derrick Rose</strong>, 6-3 205, Memphis, freshman</span></p>
<ul>

<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">The Bulls are in need of a solid PG and this is their guy. </span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">2. <strong>Heat</strong>- <strong>Michael Beasley</strong>, 6-9 235, Kansas State, freshman</span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">(26.2 PPG, 12.4 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.6 BPG) </span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">With Rose off the board this is a good pick for the Heat who need to find help for D Wade. Many reports indicate that the Heat could also select Mayo because of his ability to play point and his relationship with Wade. </span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">3. <strong>Timberwolves</strong>- <span style="Verdana;"><strong>O.J. Mayo</strong>, 6-5 215, Southern Cal, freshman</span></span></p>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">(20.7 PPG, 3.3 APG, 4.5 RPG, 1.5 SPG) </span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="Verdana;">This pick would make a lot of sense as Mayo would add depth to the front court as he can play at the 1 or 2 spot. </span></div>

<li><span style="Verdana;"><span style="Verdana;">The Sonics could use this big man to help defend against the giants in the NBA’s Western Conference. His ability to score from the post would help to take pressure off Durant.</span></span> </li>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">With the NBA draft just around the corner, this is what Total Pro Sports think the first round could look like:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">1. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Bulls</strong>- <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Derrick Rose</strong>, 6-3 205, Memphis, freshman</span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">(14.9 PPG, 4.7 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.23 SPG) </span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">The Bulls are in need of a solid PG and this is their guy. </span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">2. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Heat</strong>- <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Michael Beasley</strong>, 6-9 235, Kansas State, freshman</span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">(26.2 PPG, 12.4 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.6 BPG) </span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">With Rose off the board this is a good pick for the Heat who need to find help for D Wade. </span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">3. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Timberwolves</strong>- <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Brook Lopez</strong>, 7-0 260, Stanford, sophomore</span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">(19.2 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 1.4 APG, 2.1 BPG) </span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">The Wolves could use this big man to help defend against the giants in the NBA’s Western Conference. </span></div>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">4. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Supersonics</strong>- <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">O.J. Mayo</strong>, 6-5 215, Southern Cal, freshman</span></p>

</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">This pick would make a lot of sense here as Mayo would compliment Durant nicely. </span></div>

</li>
<li>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana;">With the loss of Gasol, Love could step in and contribute right away.</span></div>
