You’d think the child of every pro athlete would root for their father’s (or mother’s) team, but that isn’t the case in the Boozer household, as Carlos’ son was spotted chanting “Let’s go Heat” during daddy’s latest visit to South Beach.

Sure, LeBron James’ monster alley-oop over John Lucas may have been enough to excite even the biggest Heat hater, but cheering against your own father? The man that gave you life and has supported you throughout it? I think this kid needs to get his priorities straight.

Check it out.

James would go on to have a big game, as he recorded 35 point during the Heat’s 97-93 victory. Of those 35 points, none were more impressive than the following two.

During last night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks, “the Big Two” were both out with injuries, but Bosh was able to prove his worth as he filled in admirably in their absence, scoring 33 points while adding 14 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. He did that in just over 47 minutes of playing time, as the Heat needed overtime but eventually escaped with the 116-109 victory, bumping their record to a league-best 7-1.

The 33-point outburst was Bosh’s highest scoring output of the 2011-12 season, and it earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, January 5, 2012.

Despite trailing the Charlotte Bobcats by 15 at the half, the Heat were able to mount a second half comeback and earn the 96-95 victory, thanks in large part to James’ 20 second half points. In total, LeBron recorded 35 points, seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots. His all-around performance on the court last night helped the Heat stay perfect this season (3-0), and it also earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, December 28, 2011.

The Heat defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 89-88 in a game played at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

The Miami Heat were not expected to have much success in their inaugural season, but no one could have expected them to get off to such a terrible start. The Heat would lose their first 17 games of the season, which was a record that has since been matched by the 1999 Los Angeles Clippers as the worst start in NBA history. The team was made up of mostly young players and journeymen. And it did not help that they played in the Western Conference despite being an East Coast team, which forced them to travel more than any other club in the league. The Heat would finish the year 15-67, which was bad enough for dead last in the entire league.

The future now looks bright for the Miami Heat as their trio of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade should mean that they will be legitimate title contenders for several seasons to come.

Here is a look at the greatest moment in Miami Heat history.

Must Be “Like A Bosh” (Music Video)" href="http://www.totalprosports.com/2010/11/17/like-a-bosh-music-video/" target="_self">“Like a Bosh.” You’ll never guess which Heat player was the second to have a rap song created in their honor.

The logical guess would be either LeBron James or Dwyane Wade, but local Miami rapper O’Grime decided to take the unconventional approach and create a rap for Udonis Haslem, titled “Udonis Halsem, I’m so Handsome.”

I must admit, Udonis Haslem’s name does have a cool ring to it, but I’m not so sure I agree with the “handsome” part. Although, I guess there aren’t many words that even come close to rhyming with “Haslem.”

One Twitter account that we all should have been following over the course of the past year was @LeBronJamesEgo. Updated daily by @ChrisJOShea, it was perhaps the best way to keep up with everything going on in the egotistical mind of LeBron James throughout the 2010-11 NBA season.

But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and this is no exception. Earlier today Chris announced that much like LeBron’s title hopes this season, the Twitter account of his ego has come to an end. That means we will no longer be greeted by great updates, like “I GOT ONLY ONE THING TO SAY ABOUT THAT TERRIBLE LOSS LAST NIGHT: TRIPLE-DOUBLE SON HAAAAA,” or “LET ME CLARIFY MY STATEMENT FROM LAST NIGHT: YES YOUR LIFE IS SAD ALL THE TIME BUT U WILL DIE ONE DAY SO THAT’S GOOD.”

For those of you who have been missing out on all the fun, I suggest you get caught up by visiting @LeBronJamesEgo. Trust me. You wont be disappointed.
