With the Ottawa Senators having traded sniper Dany Heatley and a fifth round pick to the San Jose Sharks for Jonathan Cheechoo, Milan Michalek and a second round pick, Spezza was asked for his feelings about the move.  It was at that moment his cover was blown.

In true Bob Saget form, Spezza couldn’t help but laugh at his own lame joke, and what a laugh it was.  Sounding like a character from Revenge Of The Nerds, Spezza’s inner nerdiness was released into the microphones of several Canadian news stations.  He may have tried to hide it in, but there is only so much a true nerd can do before his cover is blown.  I guess that explains his hockey stick/nose picking device.
