Last year ended in rejection for the New Jersey Nets forward, as his wife of 72 days, Kim Kardashian, filed for a divorce in November. He was forced to deal with a similar case of rejection less than 24 hours into the New Year, but this time it was the rim at Quicken Loans Arena doing the rejecting, as Humphries’ first-quarter dunk attempt was stuffed by the cylinder during Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.

If the following video is any indication, it could be another rough year for Humph.

Unfortunately for D-Will, the 30 mph gusts of wind kept the helicopter grounded. However, that wouldn’t be enough to keep the Olympic Gold medalist from his target destination, as he was able to flag down a Red Bull Military Extreme Vehicle, which carried him through the streets of Newark before dropping him off at the party in Manhattan’s SoHo district.

While D-Will may have been somewhat disappointed that he didn’t get to check out the bright lights of New York from above, he still seemed awfully pleased with how the entire night worked out.

“Even though the original plan of checking out the skyline from a heli didn’t go as planned, it was an incredible night out,” said Williams. “I had a fun ride into Manhattan, and my friends at Red Bull threw a great party to welcome me to the family.”

For those of you who would like to revisit this journey through New York with Deron Williams, you can do so via the video below.

From the moment he came off the bench and stepped onto the court, fans at MSG let Humphries know exactly how they feel about him, his reality television career, and his previous relationship with Kim Kardashian, as they booed him upon his entrance, as well as every time he touched the ball. Luckily for him, he didn’t get his hands on the rock all that often during his 5:40 of playing time. And oddly enough, when Humphries made his return to the bench, the fans at MSG couldn’t help but chant, “We Want Humph!”

It was a strange scene inside MSG, and something tells me that the Kardashian’s are somehow at the bottom of this. Did they pay everyone in the building to give Humphries a hard time? Perhaps, but I guess we’ll never know for sure.

Here is a look at the fans in MSG booing Humphries throughout his first minute of playing time.

With just under two seconds left in the game and the score 95-95, Harris fouled 76ers forward Andre Iguodala to put him at the line. After missing the first free throw, Iguodala hit the second putting Philly up by one. That’s when Harris used his “miracle performing” ability. He caught the inbound pass, carried the ball along the baseline to half court where he appeared to have it stripped away by Iguodala. He regained possession, JUST got the shot off, and hit nothing but net. The play was reviewed and it counted. Harris finished with a game-high 39 points and had the following to say about his shot after the game:

“When I saw it go in I didn’t think it was good because the first reaction I got from the referees was that it was no good, so it was hard to get excited…but it was a good feeling [when they told me it counted].”

As for the 76ers, well lets just say they saw it a different way. At least a disgruntled Andre Miller did:

“It was no good, I mean, we all know that. We can’t sit and argue it and risk the consequences of talking about it. It’s over now…I guess that’s just how our season has been going.”

Apparently Miller isn’t much of a fan of the refs or technology. Harris earned himself a spot on ESPN’s SportsCenter Highlight of the Night thanks to the play. You think Stuart Scott was liking it?

And if you didn’t know, Playboys Cyber Girl Meghan Allen Is Dating Nets Devin Harris.
