We have all become familiar with Crosby’s baby-like antics on the ice at times, but we also saw the great things he can do when he led his Pittsburgh Penguins to the Stanley Cup.  So with Sid the Kid being hockey’s most recognizable face (Alex Ovechkin is up there as well), what better was to pay tribute to him than by inserting his head-shot on one of the most recognizable album covers of the past two decades.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Detroit has this pic hanging in their dressing room throughout next season, especially after Sid stiffed their captain, Nicklas Lidstrom, for the traditional post-series handshakes.  This is not the first pic of Crosby in an infant-like state however.  He was curled up in the fetal position with the Stanley Cup not too long after winning it.
