Answer: A bunch of players flopping and diving all over the pitch every five seconds.

I guess when you stop to think about it, that sounds a lot like what you would expect to see during any soccer game, whether or not they involve the use of electric shocking devices. But for some reason, watching people getting shocked makes everything more enjoyable, from field intrusions to soccer matches. The evidence is in the video below, which was taken from the Norwegian television show, “Golden Goal.”

Check it out.

For those still wondering, no, these two side-by-side clips are not of the same goal. Instead, they are two different goals cored by Finland’s Jarkko Immonen during a IIHF World Championship game against Norway that look exactly alike. Both came in the second period, with the first tying the game at 1-1 and the second putting Finland ahead 3-1. In both cases, the one-time pass also came from the same player, Mikael Grandlund, and they both caused the water bottle to pop off the net.

Norway would eventually catch on and prevent Immonen from scoring another goal like this, but by then it was too last, as Finland would go on to win the game by a score of 4-1.

Base jumping can also be defined as a game of inches, although, in their case an inch can often mean the difference between life and death.

Never before has that been more evident than in the following video, which we bring to you courtesy of the Norwegian television show, “Oppdrag Sognefjorden” (or “Mission Sognefjord” in English). On this day, their mission at Sognefjord, which is the largest fjord in Norway and second largest in the world, was to base jump down the fjord, only inches away from both the ground and their friends seated at the edge of the cliff.

I’m not quite sure who should be more terrified in this case. The jumpers, or the bystanders looking on?

As he states in the video before performing the jump, the key to a successful dive is landing flat in order to dissipate as much water as possible for a cushion effect. It appears as though he did just that, and the fans seemed to enjoy every second of it.

Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a fan favorite in the Scandinavian world, but one fan’s love for the Barcelona striker was especially evident when the man dressed in black rushed onto the field late in the game to hug the international soccer star. After scouring around the pitch for a few seconds, he finally found his target and leaped in with open arms, but was not exactly embraced by Zlatan. Moments later he was taken down and escorted off the field by security.

Six minutes into the game, Slovak forward Lubos Bartecko carried the puck into the neutral zone before receiving an elbow to the head from Norwegian defenceman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen. The hit sent Bartecko crashing to the ice, where he would smash his head after losing his helmet. Footage shows Bartecko unconscious on the ice with his head lying in a quickly forming pool of blood.

We should warn you that this is quite a disturbing sight.

Tollefsen was assessed a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. The Slovaks were able to capitalize twice on that power-play. However, Norway did manage to claw their way back into the game, and tied things up at 3-3 just before the end of the second period, but that was not enough as a Miroslav Satan goal 8:41 into the third was all Slovakia needed, holding on for a 4-3 final.

As for Bartecko, he was stretchered off the ice and taken to the Athletes Village policlinic for an MRI. He was later diagnosed with a severe concussion as well as a head laceration. He will not be in the line up tonight when Slovakia takes on Sweden in quarter-final action, and should they advance, they will likely do so without the services of Bartecko for the remainder of the Olympics.

I can’t understand what is being said or really whats going on, but the guy looks like a psychotic version of Ronald McDonald and it hilarious. At the start of the video you will get a glimpse of him and then at the 58 second mark he makes his dramatic reappearance.

Apparently, the angry mustached man is German Coach, Heiner Brand. Now I finally have a reason to watch competitive handball. A word of caution, don’t ever mess with anyone who sports a mustache.
