Take That Hossa" href="http://www.totalprosports.com/blog/index.php/2009/06/pens-win-take-that-hossa/" target="_self">2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings with some champagne in the visitors dressing room. As they came out one by one, they acknowledged the cheers of the fans, some making their way over to shake hands. Then the moment everyone was waiting for had arrived.

Sidney Crosby finally emerged, Cup in hands, raising it to the roar of the dedicated individuals who stuck around to watch. He didn’t shake hands (apparently he doesn’t like doing those kinds of things), but he did give the fans a good show. He was also a lot more contained than teammate Petr Sykora was during the on ice celebration.

TPS got great footage of Crosby’s emergence, but what was even better was the way the Penguins bus left the arena. After the entire team was aboard, the players bus took off, but not before Marc-Andre Fleury and Crosby emerged out of the roof to give the fans one last hoist before the trip back to Pittsburgh. That’s just one of the many trips it will be taking with the Penguin players throughout the summer.

Here is a clip of Crosby coming out of the rink with the Stanley Cup.

And here is the boys raising the Cup out of the top of the bus.
