With the series tied 1-1, the Magic will now await word as to whether Rafer will be suspended for his actions.  When asked about taking Alston’s five fingers across the face, House replied “All I did was hit a shot, turn the other way and I got hit upside the head.  I guess he was tired of getting hit upside the head.” (TSN.ca)

What better way to show the slap than inserting some 2pac lyrics and slowing it down a bit.  Eddie House didn’t seem to mind the slap after the game, claiming that the busch league tactics were expected after he was busting up Alston’s ass.  Check out the slap and Eddie House’s post-game interview below.

“Tony Battie had 18 points and eight rebounds, and the Orlando Magic got a big boost from the bench to clinch a playoff spot with a 107-79 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.  J.J. But the most exciting part of the game didn’t come until the third quarter when Chicago Bulls guard John Salmons jumped into the stands chasing for a loose ball and knocked over a couple fans. Magic guard Rafer Alston came to the rescue and picked up one of the fans popcorn that had been knocked over.

“Then Alston ate a handful, smiled and hustled down court.”
