During Bobby Regester’s accent up the hill on Sunday, he ran into a bit of trouble when his modified Pontiac Sunfire made an unexpected decent down the side of the mountain after spinning off the track.  Thankfully, Regester was able to walk away from the crash.

This is one way to tenderize your steaks!

One second thought, I think I’d rather opt for the more traditional process of simply pounding away at the meat with a metal meat tenderizer .  Not only is it safer, but it is probably a lot cheaper as well.

A sports car turned uncontrollable hover craft, coming around the corner at plus-speeds, almost certainly caused this roadside worker to soil himself. Luckily for the worker, that tree was in the way to allow him to narrowly escape a crushing death. Not so lucky for the driver, the tree was in the way to block the car from having a somewhat more graceful crash landing. The driver may or may not survive this crash, but at least we didn’t have to see somebody get crushed by a car on loop, right?

In hockey when you make a sharp stop close to somebody and the snow is sprayed up into them it’s called “icing” or “snowing” them.  In Dirt Car racing, I guess it’d called “dirtying.”  Perhaps this guy should have gotten off the track before the race started.  Now this white male looks like he’s african-american.

Yesterday we showed you how a female flashing her ass behind home plate can cause a pitcher to blow a save in the dying moments of a baseball game.  Today we take you to the dirt tracks of rally car racing, where bare asses were once again reeking havoc on the sporting world.

With these cars racing through the course at tremendous speeds, any slight slip-up can result in a disastrous crash, making the sight of a full moon (the human created version) that much more dangerous.  Driver Mark Tapper learned that the hard way.

Cameras inside Tapper’s vehicle caught a glimpse of his view as he made his way around a bend, only to be surprised by what was awaiting him at the end of it; a man’s bare ass.  The image caused him to misjudge his next turn and flip his car.

And as you would expect, Tapper was quick to blame “the cunt who stuck his ass out.”

“Safe by an inch.”

It is a phrase you may often hear at a baseball game, but sometimes it is just as applicable in rally car racing.  As a case in point, we bring you this guy, who thought he was getting a great view, but almost ended up becoming the main focus.  Luckily he avoided disaster and was able to get a few pics in as well.

Unfortunately it doesn’t always end like this.

And once again, such questions resurfaced after a scary incident during a race in Spain, where a mother and her young daughter were hit by a car as it lost control going around a turn.  As the car veers sideways, it slides into the onlooking spectators who attempt to run for cover.  Unfortunately, several people were not quick enough to dodge the oncoming vehivle, causing some to fall while the mother and daughter were tossed head-over-heels into the air.

Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but how many more incidents like this one will it take until the necessary precautions are finally taken to assure spectator safety in rally car racing?

This video takes place somewhere in Europe.  The Subaru Legacy is hooked to the stalled semi, which by the way is monstrously large in terms of how difficult it would be to tow.  Not only that, but it is completely stuck in the snow.  Now the first thing I would think of is to get a tow truck, maybe even a pick-up truck with some 4×4 action.  Its a good thing I wasn’t there to waste everyone’s time.  The driver of this Subaru WRX STI took care of the problem quickly.  Not only does this little car have power, but it had great traction as well to be able to drag all that weight and get moving when it was sitting on the slippery snow as well.

A Subaru isn’t exactly the first car I would think of buying or driving when it came to racing or especially towing.  Hard to argue with the evidence though, and this crazy tow job proves the high quality of the vehicle.  On a side note, it’s also nice to see people helping each other out instead of flipping each other off.

Total Pro Sports – It seems as though the rally car crashes keep rolling in, and as long as they do we will continue to bring them to you.

This time around it is Darren Pool providing the entertainment, and although it may seem disrespectful to describe an accident as “entertainment,” when those involved escape injury free, then such clips should be watched with enjoyment.

Flying down the RDP Welsh Rally track in Epynt, Wales at a speed of 115 mph, Pool came off a jump in his Talbot Sunbeam and hit a gust of wind.  That forced his car to lose control causing it to flip and roll a total of five times before going end over end twice and finally coming to a halt.  Emergency rescuers rushed to the aid of the 35-year-old driver and his 37-year old co-driver, Chris Beer, 35, but thankfully both would escape with only minor cuts and bruises.

Pool was lucky enough to stay away from crashing into any trees, driving into a lake, or rolling down a mountain, and lets not forget about those street-crossing horses.  His car may have been taken for a wild ride, but it looks like lady luck was riding shotgun with him this time.

Unfortunately Federico Villagra, a.k.a El Coyote, was not given the opportunity to make a choice.  The horse had already made it for him.

The incident occurred during the Argentine Rally.  As Villagra was coming around a corner, he was met by a group of horses crossing the dirt road.  The leader of the pack had almost made his way across unscathed, but at the last moment his back legs were taken out by the car, sending him flying several feet into the air.  Thankfully the other horses trailing behind were able to avoid being hit.  Villagra’s team managed to rebuild the car, but would eventually have to leave the race.

We already knew that rally car driving could be dangerous to drivers due to the all the nearby trees and lakes, not to mention the ocasional mountain, as Jari-Matti Latvala will tell you.  Now we  are aware of the threats it poses to animals as well.
