During an interview with veteran teammate Ben Setchell on ABC TV following a game between Clarence and South Launceston, Orchard sat in the background dressed in his club jacket and pants.  That didn’t stop him from finding a hole to whip out his junk on live television.

Orchard will stand in front of a sub-committee today to discuss the matter and any discipline will be determined following the hearing.  The club has expressed their disappointment in the action.  Clarence President Richard Mulligan had the following to say:

“We unreservedly apologise for any offence that may have been occasioned by the inappropriate action of the player concerned.”

“Certainly we consider it a very serious matter, one which goes to the very essence of the credibility and the public image of our footy club, and we’ll take action accordingly.

“As the president of the football club I view the matter very seriously and am extremely disappointed and angry at what happened.” [The Mercury]

This is a new low.  Even Cristiano Ronaldo kept his pants on during a public male rub-down, and Didier Drogba had the decency to stay outside Jose Bosingwa‘s pants.  Orchard took his act to a whole new level, equaling the likes of Visanthe Shiancoe.  Now we will wait and see if he was as impressive as the Viking tight end, who was offered a porn contract following his exposure.
