According to reports, the wire that intercepted Josh Hadford during his flight through the air was supposed to be lowered prior to his jump. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, causing Hadford to suffer a nasty fall that resulted in a broken leg, wrist, elbow and shoulder, and a year’s worth of nightmares for the children in attendance.

Check it out.

Not bad at all! In fact, it turned out to be quite amazing, thanks to one guy on his cell phone who was looking to impress his date.

After the first three fans failed to execute their dunks, the fourth fan stepped up, cell phone in hand, and threw down a nasty front-flip one-handed slam before performing several back-flips across the court. Needless to say, I am fairly certain Eddy got some action from his date later on that night.

Luckily for for them, the 90th second of this performance was amazing, incredible, and just about any other adjective you can think of along these lines. Trampoline and all, I still can’t believe I just saw someone dunk both the ball and their body through the rim; and judging by the roar from the crowd, I don’t believe I am the only one.

As far as dunks go, this has to be one of the best I have ever seen. Forget about Jordan from the free-throw line, Carter through the legs, and Spud Webbs’ 360°. They were all great, but not quite as great as this.

Perhaps it is a good thing that I did not see footage of this stunt when I was younger, else it is a very real possibility that I would have taken my tricycle for a disastrous ride that would have ended in a rather painful manner (a scene that we have become all too familiar with).

Let’s leave the stunts to the pros, like this guy. However, he may want to consider getting himself a new ride. I don’t think that pink bike really suits him all that well. It appears as though he is using the Barbie edition…My sister had the same one.

When Kevin Garnett screamed out the words “Anything Is Possible” after winning the 2008 NBA Championship, the first thing I thought to myself is, “what the f*&k is this guys talking about?” After all, it is not like his team was an underdog faced with a seemingly impossible challenge. At the time, Boston had three all-stars (himself, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce), an up-and-coming star in Rajon Rondo, and a great supporting cast. The Celtics were a favorite to take home the title, and if anything, their victory proves that not much is possible unless you are willing to spend the money on the proper personnel.

Then I saw this kid, and he renewed my faith in the possibility of miracles. How else do you explain his ability to perform a skateboard kick-flip with the aid of two walking crutches? Perhaps next time he will treat us to a “front-flip over ten flights of stairs and onto your skateboard jump.”

Okay, so that may seem a bit far fetched, but “anything is possible.”

I know snowboarding and skiing is fun, and believe me I enjoy watching it on TV whenever the Olympics roll around, but these kinds of stories are what make me terrified of actually getting off the bunny hills. There’s a difference between fearless and careless. Fearless is what this photographer did when he snapped the pictures of the car crash. Careless may describe Austrian Kurt Welden, a 31 year old man, who was out for a nice snowboarding trip when he found himself clinging to the edge of a cliff for dear life at the Moelltal Glacier in Carinthia, Austria.

After traveling off the marked trail, Welden realized he was hurtling towards the edge of a cliff but was able to stop just in time. As you can see from the crazy photos, he dug a little bit into the snow so he could hang on to the edge and await help.

Help eventually did come for Welden. After about an hour rescue workers were able to lift him out by helicopter. I’m not sure how he hung on for that long without his board slipping or losing his grip on the mountain, but by some miracle he survived. Apparently the Moelltal Glacier is over 9,800 feet above sea level at its highest point. A little advice for Welden and others skiing on these high peaks: stay on the trail! I’m not sure if it was by accident or on purpose, but staying on the trail is the key to not ending up hanging off a cliff for dear life.

Total Pro Sports -Yesterday during the “Big Air” BMX event, Anthony Napolitan became the first rider ever to land a Double Front-Flip. If you thought that was amazing then you haven’t seen anything yet.

During the “Best Trick Event” at X-Games 15 in Los Angeles, American Kyle Loza pulled off a spectacular trick called the “Electric Death”. This was his second straight year that he performed his antics to win the event. Loza now has won 3 consecutive years and continues to hold the title in the “Best Trick Event” at X-Games.

Luckily for Kyle Loza he landed the trick and didn’t faceplant as did Cameron Sinclair. Although spectators were highly fascinated with his jump, indicated by the “ooohs” and “ahhhs” of the crowds, the announcers seemed little impressed with Loza’s trick. They were more concerned with innovative style then the success of the trick.

“Now innovation is supposed to be the payoff, allthough it was a great trick it was one he did before.”

Let’s be serious; this trick was spectacular! Innovative or not, I would like to see any of the announcers try and complete feat at least once in their lifetime, let alone 2 years in a row.

Total Pro Sports – If you have never been to the X-Games then we recommend you try and catch this great event, you wont be disappointed. The opportunity to see the likes of X-Games greats; Travis Pastrana (Moto-Cross), Matt Hoffman (BMX) and Dave Mirra (BMX), is definitely worth every penny.

Yesterday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Summer X-Games 15 held one of the most amazing stunts. BMX’er Anthony Napolitan was the first ever rider to land a Double Front-flip without faceplanting. Somehting trully special we had to watch the video twice.

Just listen to the announcers in the video,

“That’s was so impressive, that was ridiculous, what are you gonna add to that? That’s it, that’s the double front! I mean if I’m him I’m estatic that i pulled it and I’m happy of whatever happens next even a slam.“

A historic moment in the sport, hopefully we can continue to see more ground breaking stunts throughout this years event.
