Who would of thought the Giants would lose this past Sunday to Eagles?

But if you look at the Philadelphia Eagles this year, they remind us so much of last years Super Bowl Champions the New York Giants. After tying to the lowly Bengals and losing to the Baltimore Ravens, the Eagles have come back and won their last 6 of 7 games.

The turnaround all began when the Donovan McNabb was pulled at half time after 2 straight dreadful performances. Kevin Kolb came in and did no better, the Ravens won 36-7. Rumors began to swirl that McNabb would not be resigned at the end of the season, however after leading the Eagles past the Giants those rumors have been silenced. This is no surprise since this has happened numerous times to McNabb in recent years.

Donovan McNabb and his Philadelphia Eagles get another week to keep chasing that elusive Super Bowl crown. Eli Manning and the New York Giants get a whole offseason to wonder what went wrong.

McNabb made all the big plays that Manning did not, and the Eagles eliminated the Super Bowl champions 23-11 Sunday to reach the NFC title game for the fifth time in eight seasons.

Throw in Philadelphia’s hard-hitting, bawl-hawking defense, and these NFL playoffs are now for the Birds — the underdog Eagles, Cardinals and Ravens all won on the road this weekend. The Associated Press

Next up the Arizona Cardinals!
