Okay, so perhaps there was a lot more behind-the-scenes work that this boyfriend had to perform in order to get his girlfriend to say “yes.”  And if he’d ever like to teach us a thing or two, I’m all ears!  After all, he must be doing something right if he can get such a sexy woman to accept his proposal while wearing that goofy outfit.

Total Pro Sports – The Giants are finally acknowledged as the best team in the league with no arguments coming from any of the top football writers.  They are 11-1 and stay atop of our NFL Power Rankings for week 13.

Everyone thought The New York Jets were for real, and then they go lose at home to the Bronco’s, go figure.  They beat the Titans handily last week which made them jump up in our Power Rankings but know with this defeat to Denver they will fall in our rankings.

Tough schedule ahead for the Lions, it now looks that they will be the second team in N.F.L. history to go 0-16 on the season.  A shake up is definitely needed in Detroit.

The second biggest shakers this week were 2 teams the New Orleans Saints, the Chicago Bears, losing 4 spots in the rankings.

The biggest mover this week were 3 teams the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles all moving up 4 spots in the power rankings. 

The Miami Dolphins moved from #16 to #12, the Denver Broncos moved from #19 to #14 and the Philadelphia Eagles moved from #20 to #16 in the NFL Power Rankings.

The Lions against the Titans was an absolute joke, a 47-10 beating for the Titans.  The Lions barley looked good enough to beat a High School Team from Toronto.

At least one positive came from this game. If you selected the Titans in their Survivor pool your moving onto the next week, congratulations.

The blame can’t all go the NFL, because they really don’t know how good teams will be in the upcoming season.  But before making the schedule and slotting teams on Thanksgiving, they should determine the games based on the previous years records. Match ups like the Giants and Cowboys or the Patriots and Colts are games the public would love to watch.

Other then Sunday and Monday Night football, Thanksgiving is the next most watched games on national television.  Do you ever remember a Sunday or Monday night game being as bad as these games on Thanksgiving today?

So the blame can’t all go to the Lions game but was anyone interested in watching the 4:00 match up between the Cowboys and Seahawks?…….Everyone at our office wasn’t, they were more interested in The Hulk on Pay Per View.

So who ever makes the schedule for the NFL and specifically Thanksgiving Day, all were asking is to put a little more thought in planning the games for Turkey Day.

Total Pro Sports – The Titans finally lost for the first time this season.  They are now 10-1 on the season and move down to the #2 spot in our power rankings.

The New York Jets are for real, they handed the Titans their first loss of the season and finally move into the top 5 of our NFL Power Rankings for the first time this season.  Look for them maybe to move one spot up and finish the season as the 3rd ranked team in the NFL.

A team to watch as the season ends is the Atlanta Falcons, they beat up on division rivals Carolina Panthers this week and continue to improve as the season get older.

Total Pro Sports – The Titans were down at half time against the Jaguars but came back in the second half to win and move to 10-0.

The Carolina Panthers are for real, they are 8-2 on the season and are making a clear push to me a top contender.  Even though they only beat the Lions this past week they are a top team in the NFL. If Jake Delhomme can stay healthy he will definitely lead the Panthers deep into the playoffs.

10		6-4	4	The Dolphins stay in the hunt for a division title after avoiding a scare at the hands of the Raiders. The Dolphins stifled the Raiders all game until a punt return went for a touchdown late, but Pennington executed a game winning drive for the win.
11		6-4	3	The Patriots lose a heart breaker to the Jets this week.  Do you think the Pats want Tom Brady back? Maybe, but Matt Cassell is showing that he has all the skills to play the position.
12		6-4	5	The Cowboys showed a lot of heart by coming back and winning against a tough division opponent.  Tony Romo started a little rusty but managed to make some big plays later in the game.
13		6-4	6	Atlanta lost a close one to the Broncos this week 24-20.  Michael Turner had a nice game with 85 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.  But that was it for the Falcons.
14		6-4	5	Big win for the Broncos this week as they upset the Atlanta Falcons. Jay Cutler made a lot of big plays and the Broncos defense was able to slow down the Falcons attack just enough to preserve the victory.
15		6-4	3	The Ravens defense was absolutely shredded by the Giants this week. Brandon Jacobs had 70 rushing yards in the first quarter, Ahmad Bradshaw ripped off a 77 yard run late. The turning point came in the interception that was returned for a touchdown in the third quarter.
16		5-4-1	3	In what turned out to be the first tie since 2002 the eagles looked very sloppy against the Cincinnati Bengals this week. Its about time that the Eagles let Andy Ried go.
17		5-4	1	The Packers controlled the game from start to finish and move back to .500 on the season. They move into a three way tie for the division lead.
18		5-5	2	What has happened to the Buffalo Bills? Don’t be surprised if they lose to the Chiefs next week
19		5-5	4	The Bears did nothing against the Packers this week, Kyle Orton looked ineffective and the defense was not able to slow down the pack attack.  The NFC is now wide open as the Bears and the Pack are both 5-5.
20		5-5	2	The Vikings lost to a Tampa Bay team that they should have been able to beat.  Big fumbles buy Peterson and Taylor proved to be very costly to the outcome of the game.
21		5-5	2	The Saints pulled out a road victory over the lowly Chiefs.  Things are looking brighter in the big easy as Reggie Bush is nearing a return to lineup soon.
22		4-6	-	The Jaguars got out to an early lead and had the Titans on the ropes.  However, a huge second half by the Titans changed all of the and Jaguars lost the game.  Jack Del Rio might want to update his resume, as he could be out the door soon.
23		4-6	3	The Chargers played well for most of the game, but failed to put up enough points to win.  This season appears to be done for a team that had Superbowl aspirations.
24		4-6	-	The Browns keep there slim playoff hopes up after a big win against the Buffalo Bills.
25		3-7	1	A big win for the 49ers in a game that meant nothing.  The game had more to do with next years draft then for this season.  The face the Cowboys this week, good luck.
26		3-7	1	The Texans lost again to the Colts, despite solid performances from super rookie Steve Slaton and wiley Veteran Ahman Green.  It is time for them to find a new back-up quarter back because Sage won’t cut it.

NFL Power Rankings Movers And Shakers

The biggest shaker this week was the New England Patriots losing to the Colts, which saw them drop 8 spots to #14. Did you ever think the Patriots would be ranked #14 this season?  This is what happens when you lose your Pro Bowl quarterback for the whole season.

The Dallas Cowboys were the second biggest loser of the week losing 7 spots to #15, after loosing to the surging New York Giants. Do you see the trend here with the Patriots? No QB, an increase of loses in the loss column.

The biggest mover of the week were the Miami Dolphins and the New York jets who both jumped 7 spots to #17 and #10 respectively. The Dolphins won a tough game in Denver against the Broncos and move to .500 on the season.

The New York Jets won a huge division game against the Buffalo Bills.  What happened to the Bills? The bills were 4-0 at one point in the season, and now have lost 3-4.

Total Pro Sports – Some major changes in the middle of our NFL Power Rankings this week.

The Tennessee Titans are again the #1 ranked team in our NFL Power Rankings with a tough win against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts kept the game close in the first half, but then it was all Titans the rest of the way. The Titans continue to rill both on offense and defense, now that there 7-0 and beating legitimate teams when will people start taking this team seriously?

The biggest loser this week was the Jacksonville Jaguars losing to the Cleveland Browns, which saw them drop 6 spots to #19. What was thought by most Jags fans to be a big year and a run for the Super Bowl, is slowly fading away as the Jaguars slip beneath .500 to 3-4.

The Arizona Cardinals were the second biggest loser of the week losing 5 spots to #12, after loosing to the surging Cleveland Browns. The Cardinals blew this game after holding a lead for most of the game.

The biggest gainer of the week were the Dallas Cowboys who jumped 7 spots to #8, with defensive win over the Bucs. The Cowboys finally played some defense and won a game for their team this week, the Cowboys offense was non existent against the Bucs.

The Baltimore Ravens seem to be back in business after winning back to back games. Joe Flacco is proving all doubters why he is the leader of the team and their future. The Ravens were our second biggest gainer in week 8 of the NFL Power Rankings gaining 5 spots from #21 to #16.

It seems after week 8, teams are finding their stride and getting positioned properly in there deserving spot on the NFL Power Rankings. The top teams are staying and the middle to bottom teams are makign the most moves.

4		6-2	1	The score was no indication of the way the game was played on the field. The Redskins dominated every aspect of the game taking whatever they wanted from the Lions defense. Up Next: Pittsburgh Steelers
5		6-2	3	The Panthers got off to a slow start but picked it up coming out of the tunnel at halftime, scoring 21 points in the third quarter and holding on to win. Up Next: Bye
6		5-2	3	The Patriots may not have taken the Rams too seriously without Stephen Jackson but their lucky to walk way this week with a victory. This game should have been a note to the rest of the NFL, the Rams are not that bad. Up Next: Indianapolis Colts
7		5-2	3	What has happened to the Bills in the last three weeks? They get blown out in Arizona, they win impressively against the Chargers and this week they lose to the Dolphins. They must find the same consistency as they had the first 4 weeks. Up Next: New York Jets
8		5-3	7	The Cowboys didn’t look good on offense once again this week, however, their defense finally rose to the challenge and stifled the Bucs offense. Up Next: New York Giants

11		4-3	3	Coming off a bye week and a healthy Brian Westbrook the Philadelphia Eagles put together a stellar game against an improved Falcons teams. The Eagles went for 432 total yards and 1 interception. The biggest player on the field was Brian Westbrook, rushing for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns. If the Eagles can stay healthy they can easily be Super Bowl contenders. Up Next: Seattle Seahawks
12		4-3	5	The Cardinals could not hold a 17-3 lead against the Panthers, losing the game 27-23. Kurt Warner had a good game going 35-49, with 389 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The Cardinal rushing attack was held to only 50 total yards, 30 of them by wide receiver Anquan Boldin. They better find a way to get their run game going or they will slowly slip. 14		4-3	3	2 out of 3 members of the Big 3 showed for the loss against the Eagles. Michael Turner was held to 17 carries, 58 yards and no touchdowns. Look for the Big 3 to have a monster game next week against the Oakland Raiders. Up Next: Oakland Raiders

20		3-4	2	San Diego flew overseas to play this game against the Chargers in London, England. They put on a show for the London fans, with a combined 860 total yards on offense and 69 total points. The only problem was the Chargers came out with a loss. Up Next: Bye

They held a league going into half time 7-6 but could not hold the Titans off the rest of the game losing 31-21. A must win for the Colts who now move to 3-4. Total Pro Sports – Rolling, Rolling, Rolling, Rolling, the Titans keep on Rolling. Even though they played the last place Chiefs the Titans are still undefeated and #1 on our NFL power rankings. Who would have thought without their star Vince Young the Titans would be able to keep dominating teams. Vince Young where have you gone? That’s definitely the question that Titans fans are not asking themselves.

The biggest loser in our NFL Power Rankings this week were the Dallas Cowboys losing to the lowly St. Louis Rams, which saw them drop 9 spots to #15. With the loss of Tony Romo for an extended amount of time it seems that the Cowboys season is slowly going down the drain. The Indianapolis Colts are a team in disarray, they lost 8 spots to #17 in our NFL Power Rankings. After winning huge the week before they come into Green Bay and decided to start there practice squad.

The biggest winner this week in our NFL power rankings were the New England Patriots who jumped 9 spots to #9. The New England Patriots looked like the old Patriots when they could not loose a game. Hopefully this continues and the loss of Tom Brady is forgotten. The Packers had the second biggest increase in our power rankings moving up 8 spots to #12. They absolutely destroyed the Indianapolis Colts, and showed no signs that they miss Brett Favre.

The biggest loser in our NFL Power Rankings this week were the New England Patriots losing to the San Diego Chargers, which saw them drop 10 spots to #18. The Patriots got absolutely destroyed by the Chargers in San Diego, without Tom Brady their season is done. Another team this week which lost 10 spots in our NFL Power Rankings were the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens got there feathers wiped off them by the Indianapolis Colts.

The biggest gainer of the week were the Arizona Cardinals who jumped 5 spots to #7, with a huge win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Arizona Cardinals seem to be back on track after back to back wins over 2 top 10 teams in the NFL. There were 2 other teams as well who gained 5 spots in the Power rankings, they were the Buffalo Bills, moving up without even having to play this past week, and the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons moved up to the #13 spot after beating the Bears in the dieing second of the game. The big 3 and the Falcons are for real, keep an eye on them as they continue to improve.

5		4-2	-	What we all thought was gonna be a blow out for the Redskins was not true. A line that was set at -14 points for the skins is now truly laughable. I wish I knew this is what the outcome was gonna be, I would have laid the house on the Rams money line. Jason Campbell was less then stellar, and if it were not for those 3 fumbles by the skins they would now be 5-1. Up Next: St. Louis Rams
6		4-2	3	A huge loss to the Cardinals this past week and with the loss of Tony Romo with a broken pinkie that occurred in over time. We can only question whats next for the Cowboys????? Up Next: St. Louis Rams
7		4-2	5	What a huge win for the Cardinals, they were all over Tony Romo on defense and Kurt Warner was impressive yet again on offense. The biggest play came on special teams however, as the game was won on a punt block touchdown. Up Next: Bye
8		4-2	2	A big win against division rival Panthers. The Bucs ended up capitalizingon Panthers mistakes winning the game 27-3. The Bucs defense was stellar holding the effective Panthers run to only 40 total yards. Up Next:Seattle Seahawks
9		3-2	4	They absolutely dominated the Ravens in every aspect of the game and the offense got back on track. Up Next:Green Bay Packers
10		4-2	3	The high flying Broncos were held to only 17 points this week against the Jaguars. It seems as if the Broncos are slowly coming back down to reality, well just have to wait and see what they can do against the Patriots on Monday night next week. Up Next: New England Patriots
11		4-2	5	The Panthers just got absolutley destroyed by the division rival Bucs. There run game was held to 40 total yards and Jake the snake threw for 3 interceptions. You can be sure they will be practicing all week for this mess. Up Next: New Orleans Saints

13		4-2	5	Matt Ryan is quickly making the people of Atlanta forget about Micheal Vick. The young quarter is growing each week and taking a lead role in the offense. His maturity is evident in his composure during crucial times in the game. Up Next: Bye
14		3-3	1	The Eagles used a 23 point fourth quarter to reach .500 mark this season. McNabb was sensational again leading his team back from a nine point deficit entering the final period. The Eagles may have saved their season. Up Next: Bye
15		3-3	2	Dominating the Patriots in a regular season game doesn’t completely make up for the playoff losses but it’s step in the right direction. Up Next: Buffalo Bills
16		3-2	3	The Jets keep the Bengals win lessand keep pace with division leading Buffalo. Thomas Jones played his best game thus far this season. Up Next: Oakland Raiders
17		3-3	6	They thought they had the game won, Kyle Orton’s touchdown pass with 11 seconds left should have sealed the win. This is the reason why I hate the squib kick as Atlanta got the ball on it’s own 44 yard line made one play to get into field goal range and Elam hit a 48 yard field goal. Up Next: Minnesota Vikings
18		3-2	10	Tom Brady where have you gone!!!! Without Tom Brady running the offense you can trully see what kind of offense you have on the field. Do you see now why you need a true quarterback? Up Next: Denver Broncos
19		3-3	3	The most impressive quarterback this season was at it again this week, Drew Brees completed his first 16 passes on route to a 26-30 for 320 yards and 3 touchdown day. Up Next: Carolina Panthers
20		3-3	3	Aaron Rodgers was able to play through the pain of his injured shoulder and lead the the Packers to win over a depleted Seahawks team. Up Next: Indianapolis Colts
21		3-3	-	Only Josh Childress can struggle against the Detroit Lions defense, he lacks the ability for offensive creativity. The Vikings were able to score a late field goal to avoid an embarrassing loss to the win less Lions. Up Next: Chicago Bears
22		2-3	4	A huge win this week on Monday night against the Giants. Is this the turn around game for the Browns? Well just have to wait and see. Up Next: Washington Redskins
23		2-3	4	The Dolphins give the the Texans their first win on the season. The defence wasn’t able to come up with a key stop on 4th and 10, this eventually led to the go ahead touchdown with 3 seconds left. Up Next: Baltimore Ravens
24		2-3	10	Joe Flacco’s inexperience was most evident this week as he was unable to make any plays on offense and turns the ball over three times. Up Next: Miami Dolphins
25		2-4	1	Held a lead till the end of the third quarter, until they allowed the Eagles to score 23 total points in the fourth quarter. The 49ers had 3 turnovers in the 4th quarter which went for 13 Eagles points. They better improve on this or they continue to get blown out. Up Next: New York Giants
26		1-4	4	What a game against the Miami Dolphins this past week. The Texans just squeaked out their first win of the season. Way to go Texans, way to go!!!!! Hopefully they can go for #2 next week. Up Next: Detroit Lions
