In this picture, Tony Hawk shows he’s still got it. Okay, I’m just messing with you. That’s not Tony Hawk. Well, I don’t think it’s Tony Hawk. The skateboarding legend is old, but he’s not that old. Besides, he’s too busy cheating on his wife with his best friend’s wife to be skateboarding. No, this is just an awesome picture that captures perfectly the type of senior citizen I hope to be one day. Is this photo almost certainly a product of photoshop? Yes. Is it still totally bad-ass? Also, yes.

Hawk showed he still has it during a recent Tour in Sweden, as he completed the same trick that took him 11 attempts back in 1999 during the Summer X-Games.

The X-Games have been trying hard to gain popularity and attract greater audiences overseas, and Tony Hawk has been doing what he can to help them spread the love.  For those not already aware, he’s awfully good at that.

Here is a word of advice to all you men out there.  If Tony Hawk is around, you may want to hide your wife and/or girlfriend.  Unfortunately for Hawk’s former (we assume) best friend Matt Goodman, this advice was received a little too late.

Reports have recently surfaced indicating that Hawk has split with his third wife, Lhotse Merriam, to be with Goodman’s wife, Cathy.  In addition to being lifelong friends with the skateboarding legend, Matt was also Hawk’s business partner and a groomsman in all three of his weddings.  However, should Tony and Cathy decide to turn their affair into something more meaningful down the road, I wouldn’t expect Goodman to make it four-for-four.

Lhotse found out about the affair in December when she discovered a plane ticket that Hawk had purchased for Cathy so that the two of them could rendezvous in San Francisco.  Since then, both Hawk and Goodman have filed for a divorce.

Hawk and Merriam had one child together, while Matt and Cathy had been married for 20 years with two kids.

You know who must be loving this right now?  Tiger Woods.

I’m pretty sure Tony Hawk isn’t the only one who would approve of this.  After all, the last time I saw something that looked so good on a skateboard was at the 1999 X-Games, when Hawk became the first skateboarder to successfully land the “900″.

As for this image, I’m not sure if she has a name for her trick, but it sure as hell earns her a 10 out of 10 on my scorecard.

Hawk tweeted about the fall shortly after the event. “Did a tailbone 5 & my foot was a little off, sent me into b/s revert (chicken-neck) to flat. Hit my back & head HARD. Waiting for CT results.”

As a follow-up tweet from Hawk revealed, those results came back and with a diagnosis of his injury as a ‘pelvic vertical shear injury’. I’ve never heard of such a thing, but I bet it hurts.  A lot. Also hurting a lot? Getting power bombed in an MMA fight.  Or hit with a line drive, foul ball from your own teammate.

Over the years Hawk has suffered much worse. He’ll be fine and back out thrilling crowds in no time.

It is not necessarily the sight of this kid’s legs being snapped apart like two people fighting over a wishbone at Thanksgiving diner that will make you squeamish.  However, his reaction afterwards most certainly will.  Especially when the words “I’m bleeding out of my f*cking balls” begin to pour out of his mouth.

Don’t worry kid.  You’re in luck.  Sami Salo’s hospital bed has just opened up for you.

Thankfully, Tony shared this with us all through his Twitter account, so it is only right if we return the favor and offer him some suggestions as to how he may answer such a question in the future.

Here are some suggestions we came up with:

1.  “Because I completed the first 900 on a skateboard, and you didn’t.”

2.  “Because chicks dig Tony Hawk.”

3.  “Because that is what the name on all those endorsement checks say.”

4.  “Because my parents were going to name me “Black Hawk” before deciding to just keep it simple and stick with “Tony”.

5.  “Why not?”

Total Pro Sports – If you have never been to the X-Games then we recommend you try and catch this great event, you wont be disappointed.  The opportunity to see the likes of X-Games greats; Travis Pastrana (Moto-Cross), Matt Hoffman (BMX) and Dave Mirra (BMX), is definitely worth every penny.

Yesterday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Summer X-Games 15 held one of the most amazing stunts.  BMX’er Anthony Napolitan was the first ever rider to land a Double Front-flip without faceplanting.  Somehting trully special we had to watch the video twice.

Just listen to the announcers in the video,

“That’s was so impressive, that was ridiculous, what are you gonna add to that? That’s it, that’s the double front!  I mean if I’m him I’m estatic that i pulled it and I’m happy of whatever happens next even a slam.“

A historic moment in the sport, hopefully we can continue to see more ground breaking stunts throughout this years event.

$250 plus shipping, for a sweaty old bra in this economy.  I wouldn’t pay 1 dollar for that.  If I were Brandi I would tell them to keep it.  I wonder where they get the balls to ask for money for items that have been donated?

Another item being held, is one of Tony Hawk’s first skateboards. Apparently, they want $1,500 for it, that is robbery.  The moral of the story, never donate something to a museum, they can’t be trusted.
