While the San Diego Chargers’ offense was busy targeting the Denver Broncos’ 34-yard line late in the fourth quarter in an attempt to set up a game-winning field-goal, kicker Nick Novak was busy targeting the bottom of the Gatorade table with his built-in garden hose.

Novak would get an opportunity to kick a game-winning 53-yard field-goal in overtime, but he would miss wide right.  While that may have disappointed most of the people on the Chargers’ sideline, I’d assume the guy on towel duty in the above image was happy that Novak waited until after he was finished urinating before missing his target.

It sure is great to be a man sometimes.  After all, I don’t believe a female soccer player would be capable of taking a knee, pulling her pants down slightly and releasing some bodily fluids on the pitch during a quick break prior to the start of extra time.  Hopefully he gave his teammates the heads up not to perform any slide tackles in that area.

As for the referee, it appears as though he is keeping a close eye on the urinating player.  I wonder if that is a bookable offense?

Earlier this year, the Steelers’ quarterback was accused of raping a 20-year-old female inside the washroom of a Georgia nightclub.  Now he is being accused of urinating on an Ohio golf course by a woman, who has since threatened to press charges.

Police have investigated Big Ben and the rest of his foursome, but Dublin police spokesman David Ball has stated that no charges or citations were issued and that Roethlisberger was not the person seen urinating by the woman.  Instead, he merely tried to calm the woman down, according to a source close to Ben.

I’m afraid I am going to have to side with Roethlisberger and his boys on this one.  Pissing at a golf course is nothing out of the ordinary.  After all, someone has to water the fairways.  And if Wayne Rooney can do it, then why can’t a two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback?

Frederick Goodwin, 42, is the coach of a midget team in Watertown, NY.  Wednesday evening he decided that coaching Little League was so easy, he could do it drunk.  That was exactly what he did, but Goodwin likely didn’t consider the backlash he would receive from parents.  When they noticed he was intoxicated, they informed Watertown police chief Joe Goss who was in attendance watching his son play with the other 8-10 year olds.

The city’s recreation director, Jayme St. Croix was contacted and made his way to the park to discuss the situation with Goss.  That’s when Goodwin made his way down the first base line towards the outfield to “water the grass” with some of his booze.  As he stood their urinating with his back to the field, the parents and officials had enough.  Patrol was called and Goodwin was escorted off the field.

This is not the first incident for Goodwin, as he was arrested by state police for a DWI in May.

Goodwin has been banned from coaching in the league.  Maybe someone like himself is better suited for just watching from the stands.
