Week nine did not bring about many relevant injuries in the world of fantasy football, but with one more week of byes remaining on the NFL schedule, and powerhouse offenses like the Packers, Saints and Chargers all set for their week off, many owners will find themselves scrambling for some last second replacements. Most notable are the losses of quarterbacks Philip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. So are there any worthy replacements available on the waiver wire?

Here are some names you may want to look out for, and if you are in need and can get your hands on them, don’t hesitate to do so.

David Garrard, QB, JAC – With the Jaguars on their bye in week nine, many fantasy owners may have felt the need to drop Garrard. If that was the case in your league, be sure to turn their mistake into your gain. Garrard is not a great option for those looking for a full-time replacement as he tends to be quite inconsistent, but he should have a strong game against the Houston Texans’ league-worst pass defense in week 10. The Texans’ gave up four touchdowns to the Chargers’ practice squad receivers, and we don’t expect them to turn things around anytime soon.

Shaun Hill, QB, DET – The Buffalo Bills may not be giving up a lot of yards through the air this season (they currently rank 6th in the league in passing yards against per game), but they have allowed a dreadful 17 passing touchdowns against and have only recorded one interception through eight games. Whether it is Shaun Hill or Drew Stanton playing quarterback for the Lions on Sunday, either play-caller should be able to put up some respectable numbers as a week 10 fill-in.

Nate Washington, WR, TEN – One trend that has become apparent as Randy Moss moves around the league this season is that whoever happens to be playing on the opposite side of him at the wide receiver position always tends to benefit from his presence. Being the deep threat that he is, Moss always seems to attract at least two, and sometimes three defenders. If he can do the same in Tennessee, we expect Nate Washington to be the beneficiary of his arrival.

Sidney Rice, WR, MIN – Those at the top of their league standings may already be looking forward to the playoffs. If that sounds like you, I advise you get your hands on Sidney Rice if he is still available in your league. Rice was a top fantasy producer last season at the wide receiver position. If he can come back soon and regain his form in time for the fantasy playoffs (week 14 in most cases), you will be happy you added him to your roster in advance.

Vincent Jackson, WR, SD – Much like Rice, those who are looking for playoff reinforcements at the wide receiver position are advised to make their move now for the Chargers’ Vincent Jackson. It seems like whoever Philip Rivers is throwing the ball to is a great fantasy asset, and there is absolutely no reason to believe that the same wont be true of Jackson upon his return. Look for he and Rivers to get their timing back during the next few weeks of practice, and he should be able to make an immediate impact upon his return to the Chargers line-up in week 12.

It appears as though the NFL’s adjustment to rules regarding hits to the head has worked. Fantasy owners were treated to a week that did not see many, if any, receivers or running backs go down with serious injuries. However, the quarterbacks still appear to be dropping like flies. Here is an interesting stat for you all. In the past two Monday night games, three of the four starting quarterbacks have left the game with an injury. And here is another stat for you. The Giants have knocked five quarterbacks out of the game thus far this season.

So with that being said, perhaps you should stay away from quarterbacks who are starting on Monday night or playing against the Giants. Or maybe not (this Monday’s game features Peyton Manning vs. Matt Schaub). Here are some guys you may want to target on your fantasy league’s waiver wire.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, BUF – Wondering just how good Ryan Fitzpatrick has been since taking over the starting duties for the Bills? Through those four games he has recorded 969 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions, and he currently has me contemplating starting him over Tom Brady in one of my leagues. Seems crazy, but he has recorded 18, 24, 26 and 36 fantasy points (in standard scoring leagues) over the course of his four starts and with the Bills expected to be trailing often this season, look for Fitzpatrick to be airing out the pigskin week in and week out.

Matthew Stafford, QB, DET – Shaun Hill was solid in place of Matthew Stafford, but now that the Lions former first-overall pick is back, he appears to be a great addition to any fantasy football team. If Shaun Hill can turn himself into a top ten fantasy quarterback with the Lions’ offensive weapons around him (and believe it or not, he was putting up top 10 points at his position), just imagine what Stafford can do. If he was dropped in your league, you may want to pick him up now before it is too late. He is expected to return in week 8 with Detroit coming off their bye.

Jon Kitna, QB, DAL – Kitna didn’t look all that good in his first couple drives after coming in for an injured Tony Romo, but he did settle in late, recording 187 yards and two touchdowns in just over one half of football. He may not be able to duplicate Romo’s numbers, but with a talented receiving corps, Kitna is capable of putting up some decent stats. If you are in need of a quarterback, he may be a serviceable acquisition for you.

LeGarrette Blount, RB, TB – It has been hard to predict what we should expect from Blount in recent weeks as he gave us an impressive showing against the Steelers before being shut out the next week, and deactivated the week after that. But he was able to follow that up with a solid 11 carries for 72 yards against the Rams in week 7, and suddenly it appears as though Blount could be the go-to guy in the Bucs’ backfield. That makes him well worth the roster spot for anyone in need of a running back.

Steve Johnson, WR, BUF - As Ryan Fitzpatrick has flourished, so too has Steve Johnson. The 3rd-year wide receiver has scored a touchdown in four consecutive weeks, with his most impressive performance coming in week 7 against the Ravens as he went off for 158 yards and a touchdown. He may not be the biggest name at the wide receiver position, but he seems to have built some chemistry with Fitzpatrick. Look for Johnson to continue to be a top target in the Bills’ passing game.

Another week. Another hand-full of fantasy starters that look like they are headed for extended stays in the trainers room. The likes of DeSean Jackson, Joseph Addai, Antonio Gates and Malcolm Floyd are just a few of the players that went down this week. Perhaps the NFL’s initiative to take care of helmet-to-helmet hits will somehow begin to decrease the number of fantasy stars we are seeing go down with each passing week, but for now we will simply have to settle with searching through the waiver wire to find our weekly replacements.

Here is a look at some guys you should consider picking up if they are available in your league.

Matt Cassel, QB, KC - Last week we advised that you pick up Cassel because of his week 6 match-up against a poor Texans secondary. Those who listened were rewarded to the tune of 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Once again we will offer the same advice to those in need of a quarterback for week 7. PICK UP CASSEL!!! This time he will be facing a Jaguars secondary that is just about as bad as Houston’s. Even Kerry Collins was able to put up a passing touchdown on them during last night’s Monday Nighter, and we believe he could have put up more had the game been closer and the Titans needed to score.

Mike Hart, RB, IND – Indianapolis has had a difficult time keeping their running backs healthy this season and with Donald Brown already out, Joseph Addai suffered a shoulder injury that caused him to have it in a sling following the game. The Colts have a bye this week, but if these injuries continue to linger, Hart could get a bulk of the carries beginning in week 8.

Chris Ivory, RB, NO - The Saints have been waiting for Ivory to show them something and he did just that in their week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie running back went off for 158 yards on just 15 carries, which works out to an incredible average of 10.5 yards per carry. With no timetable set on Pierre Thomas’ return, Ivory should continue to get a lead role in the Saints backfield, making him well worth the roster spot on any fantasy team.

Deion Branch, WR, NE – Deion Branch is back! He may have been gone for a few years, but now that he is back in New England, the former Super Bowl MVP looked like he never left during his week 6 game against the Ravens. Branch recorded an impressive 9 receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. Look for him to only get better as he regains his comfort in the Patriots’ offensive system.

Danario Alexander, WR, STL – When Mark Clayton was declared out for the season with a knee injury, many believed it would be Danny Amendola who would receive the majority of his targets. However, it appears as though Sam Bradford has another wide receiver in mind and his name is Danario Alexander. The former practice-squad player recorded four receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s victory over the Chargers. He may be just the deep-ball threat that the rookie quarterback needs in order to work the ball down field, and if that turns out to be the case, those who pick him up should be rewarded.

We are only three weeks in, but 2010 already appears to be the year of the injured running back. The guys that line up in the back field are literally dropping like flies. Several potential starters went down in the preseason, then we saw Ryan Grant get hit with a season-ending injury in week one, Ryan Matthews was a victim in week two, and now week three has taken its toll on a few more backs. With Ray Rice nursing an injured knee, Knowshon Moreno’s hamstring apparently acting up again, Steven Jackson straining his groin, and Jahvid Best dealing with turf-toe, now is the time to make sure you have a back-up plan at the running back position already in place.

With that being said, it is not surprising to see our waiver wire suggestions heavily loaded with running backs. If you need some depth (and who are you kidding, we can all use some depth at the running back position), we suggest you pick up one of these guys, if they still happen to be available.

Peyton Hillis, RB, CLE – Another one of those running backs who went down in week three was Jerome Harrison, who was inactive for the Browns’ game against the Ravens on Sunday with a thigh injury. Peyton Hillis started in his place and carried the load throughout the day, but what was most impressive was the manner in which he carried that load. Against a Ravens defense that is known to be stout against the run, Hillis racked up 144 yards and a touchdown. That should be enough to earn him the full-time starting job for the Browns, as well as a spot on your fantasy roster.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, NE - With Kevin Faulk out for the season and Fred Taylor hobbled by an injured toe, Green-Ellis was the main man in the Pats’ back-field and he made the most of his opportunity, racking up 98 yards and a touchdown. We should keep in mind that those numbers came against a Bills defense that is rather poor against the run, but on a team that can move the ball like the Pats, he should get his fair share of opportunities to punch the ball into the end zone.

Laurence Maroney, RB, DEN – With Knowshon Moreno dealing with hamstring issues, Maroney is expected to see the bulk of the carries in the Broncos backfield. That was the case on Sunday when he rushed for 24 yards on 12 carries against the Colts. He was also stopped on a 4th down attempt from inside the Colts’ 1-yard line. Maroney was not impressive, but if Moreno continues to be plagued by injuries, Maroney should continue to fill in as the starter in Denver.

Kenneth Darby, RB, STL - Steven Jackson was another one of those running backs who sustained an injury on Sunday, and with the Rams’ workhorse out, Darby filled in quite nicely to the tune of 49 yards and a touchdown. St. Louis may not be an elite running game, but when you are looking for depth at the running back position, any starter is a good bet, and Darby might be just that if Jackson continues to get hit by the injury bug.

Louis Murphy, WR, OAK – I have never been one to endorse a Raider as a good fantasy addition to your team, but with Darren McFadden looking good, maybe it is time to break that trend. So are there any other viable fantasy players on the Oakland roster? Yes, there is. And one of them happens to be Louis Murphy. Since going with quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, Murphy has seen a steady rise in production. In week two he put up an impressive 91 yards and a touchdown, and in week three he was at it once again with five receptions for 119 yards. It appears as though he and Gradkowski have developed some chemistry with each other, and as long as the Raiders continue to trail in games, Murphy should continue to see a steady number of balls thrown his way.

It is only two weeks into the 2010 Fantasy Football season, but already some owners are prepared to hit the panic button. While a trade is never a bad idea (if it makes sense), your best bet to improve your roster is always through the waiver wire. Sure your top players may not be producing at the same level you had expected them to when you drafted them, but it is only two games! Even the best players in the world can have two quiet games in a row (see Drew Brees).

So don’t hit the panic button just yet. Take a look at the waiver wire, and if any of these guys are available, pick them up. And if that doesn’t work, then maybe it is about time to seek out a trade.

Josh Freeman, QB, TB – Freeman may not put up remarkable yardage totals, he has shown the ability to work the ball down the field and get it into the end zone when needed. Freeman threw for an impressive two touchdowns against a strong Panthers’ secondary and although he faces a tough Steelers defense in week three (and therefore should not be started in any league), he can be a solid addition to any team looking for depth at quarterback.

Jason Snelling, RB, ATL – Anyone who watched the Falcons throttle the Cardinals may have noticed that Michael Turner no longer looks like “The Burner” we once knew him as. Coming into the 2010 season, word out of the Falcons camp was that Turner had regained his breakaway speed, but that assessment looks to be far from the truth after the first two weeks of the season. And to make matters worse, now he has a groin injury to worry about. While we are not ready to completely abandon hope in Turner, we do suggest that you keep a close eye on this situation and pick up Snelling in the meantime. He racked up 186 yards and three touchdowns in place of Turner on Sunday, and it may not be the last you see of him.

Demaryius Thomas, WR, DEN – When the Broncos drafted Thomas in the first round of the 2010 draft, they were hoping they had their replacement for Brandon Marshall. After sitting out the first game of the season with an injury, Thomas returned in week two and upon first glance it appears as though the Broncos got exactly what they were looking for. The rookie our of Georgia Tech recorded 8 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks, and while it would be a little far fetched to expect such totals on a regular basis, he should be able to produce some strong stats against favorable opponents on a Broncos team that appears committed to the pass.

Lance Moore, WR, NO – Which New Orleans player will benefit the most from Reggie Bush’s injury? Most would probably assume the answer to this question is Pierre Thomas, but I would argue that it may in fact be Lance Moore. Moore has been an afterthought in fantasy circles for the past couple of seasons, but in 2008 he was a key factor in the Saints’ offense, recording 79 catches for 928 yards and 10 touchdowns. So what does that have to do with Bush being injured? During that season, Moore filled in for an injured Bush on much of the short yardage passing plays. If Moore ends up filling in for Bush once again, he could develop into one of the best sleeper pickups off waivers this season.

Tony Moeaki, TE, KC – It is tough to rely on any fantasy player that relies on Matt Cassel to throw him the ball, but Moeaki may be an exception. If there was any doubt about his three receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown in week one, he answered them with another solid five receptions for 58 yards in week two. Not stunning numbers, but solid production for any fantasy tight end. If you are in need of some help at that position, Moeaki is your man.

After only one week of play, we have already seen several key fantasy players go down with injuries. The Packers have lost running back Ryan Grant to an ankle injury, Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb sustained a concussion, and Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an injured right shoulder. Whether you have any of these players on your team, or if some major holes in your roster became evident after week one, you may want to look at a few of these guys who should be available on your league’s waiver wire.

Brandon Jackson, RB, GB – With Ryan Grant now out for the remainder of the season, look for Brandon Jackson to become the workhorse back that carries the load for the Green Bay Packers. Coach Mike McCarthy has said that he feels Jackson is capable of being a three-down-back and now the fourth-year man will have the opportunity to prove himself. Expect him to be a solid addition to any team as he will be the go-to running back in what is one of the league’s best offenses.

Michael Vick, QB, PHI – Andy Reid has stated that he will go back to Kevin Kolb if he is okay to play, but after failing his first concussion test, it does not appear as though Kolb will be on the field this upcoming weekend. That means Michael Vick may have another opportunity to prove that he still has a little something left in the tank. And if he produces once again in week 2 against the Lions, it will be tough for Reid not to stick with Vick as his full-time starter.

Mike Williams, WR, SEA – The name Mike Williams was being whispered around in the preseason as a potential sleeper pick in drafts, but most of the time it was Tampa Bay’s Mike Williams that was being referred to. However, that could change after week one, as it was Seattle’s Mike Williams that was the more impressive of the two with 64 yards and a touchdown (although Tampa’s Williams did record 30 yards and a touchdown). He was the most targeted receiver on Seattle with six passes being thrown his way. If he continues to top Matt Hasselbeck’s priority list, he should continue to produce some decent fantasy numbers.

Peyton Hillis, RB, CLE – When rookie Montario Hardesty went down with a season-ending injury, many thought that Jerome Harrison would be the one carrying the bulk of the rushing duties, but that was not the case in the Browns opening game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hillis and Harrison both carried the ball nine times, and although Harrison did end up with 11 more yards, Hillis was the one who scored the touchdown and also added four receptions. Hillis also fumbled the ball twice (losing one), but Mangini likes his tough running style. If he can hang onto the ball, it may not be long before he is the go-to guy in Cleveland.

Mark Clayton, WR, STL – Clayton had only three practices to prepare for his first game with Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, but he still managed to record 10 receptions for 119 yards and was targeted an impressive 16 times by the rookie. That bodes well for Clayton, who should continue to see plenty of targets as long as he is starting for a Rams team that will be playing from behind more often than not.

Headed into week 12, the fantasy football playoff season is upon us. Hopefully you have your starting lineup set and your backups fairly established. But there is always a move to make, whether it is picking up a kicker, or just finding someone to fill the spot on your roster that opened up after you dropped Ted Ginn Jr., which we advise all fantasy owners to do. Our testimony is in the video below.

If if you are looking to fill a hole in your roster, or grab some much needed depth before the playoffs roll around, we advise taking a look at these guys, and if one of them happens to be available, PICK HIM UP!

Here is a look at some players you may want to take a look at in you league:

Chad Henne, MIA, QB: He may not light up the scoreboard, but Chad Henne has been improving each week with the Dolphins, and now that Ronnie Brown is out, he will likely be called upon to produce more for the offense (unless Ricky Williams can continue to score three touchdowns per game). He has seemed to grow more comfortable with Devone Bess, and with a rather light schedule down the stretch, he might be able to produce some numbers in case of an injury (which quarterbacks seem to be experiencing lately).

Fred Jackson, BUF, RB: Fred Jackson filled in well for Marshawn Lynch at the beginning of the season when Lynch was suspended. He may get the opportunity to fill that role again if Marshawn can not go due to injury. Even if Lynch can go, he may be getting banged up and Jackson should begin to assume a larger role in the offense. If Jackson continues to get his reps, he may be able to produce against some weak opponents down the stretch. That makes him worth a look in most deeper leagues.

Rock Cartwright, WSH, RB: First Portis goes down with a concussion. Then backup Ladell Betts suffers an MCL injury. Now it will be Rock Cartwright’s opportunity to run with it and we expect him to do just that. The Reskins have some tough matchups on their schedule, but they do have an upcoming game against the Oakland Raiders in week 14. If you are looking for a back with a good matchup at that point, Cartwright may be worth the look.

Chris Chambers, KC, WR: After being cut by the San Diego Chargers, Chambers landed himself a spot on the Chiefs and now finds himself as their number one guy. That came after Dwayne Bowe was suspended for steroid use. So how did he respond in his first game as the go-to-guy? By catching four balls for 119 yards, including a 61-yarder to set up the game-winning kick. With a kind schedule looming during fantasy playoff time, Chambers could be the best available receiver out there.

Davone Bess, MIA, WR: We mentioned Henne above, and for much of the same reasons we will suggest you pick up Bess if needed. Now that Brown is out, the Dolphins will continue to run gadget plays, but Bess could see a lot more responsibility with his quickness and agility. With Ted Ginn having trouble catching the ball, Bess should continue to be the main target in Miami.

Speaking of Ted Ginn dropping the ball…

Knowing which players are available, and of those, which have value is an important part of building a winning team as the season goes on.

It can be difficult to identify such players, and that is why we here at TPS are going to help you out. Each Tuesday for the remainder of the season, we will give you some players to look out for that may be on your waiver wire. These players are the ones we assume are available in most leagues, but beware. There may be better free agents out there that we have not listed because we just assume that someone should already have taken them. If one of those guys is a free agent in your league, PICK HIM UP!

Here is a look at some guys you may want to take a look at in you league:

Vince Young, TEN, QB: Coach Jeff Fisher may not be leaving the ball in the hands of quarterback Vince Young all that often, and with Chris Johnson at running back that should come as no surprise. However, when Young has been given the opportunity, he has produced. In the three games he started since the Titans’ bye week, Young has scored a touchdown in each (two passing and one rushing), and although his stat line may not resemble the likes of some of the NFL’s top passers, he can still be valuable for those looking to add some depth to the position.

Ladell Betts, WSH, RB: If you didn’t add him last week, you may want to get on it this week, that is, if he is still available. Betts was rather impressive against the Broncos on Sunday, posting 114 rushing yards and a touchdown. It was the best game the Redskins have had on the ground all year and it eventually helped them get the victory. There is no timetable for Portis’ return, and when he is healthy and ready to go, coach Jim Zorn has stated that he will be given the starting job back, but until then, Betts is a viable option in all fantasy leagues.

Jason Snelling, ATL, RB: In a week where several top running backs went down, there will be several replacements available on the waiver wire. One of them is Snelling. The Falcons workhorse back Michael Turner will be sidelined for what is expected to be at least the next couple of weeks, and maybe more, after sustaining a high ankle sprain. In the meantime, Snelling will be expected to step up as the lead back and carry much of the load for Atlanta going forward. He did manage to gain 61 yards and a touchdown on the ground, as well as another 32 through the air Sunday during a loss to the Panthers. As long as Turner is out, Snelling is worth a spot on your fantasy team.

Justin Forsett, SEA, RB: Forsett is yet another back whose stock has gone up after an injury, this one to Julius Jones. After Jones was sidelined with a bruised lung, Forsett rushed for an impressive 123 yards and one touchdown. Now with Jones expected to miss a few weeks due to the injury, Forsett will see his workload increase and if he continues to produce, a role as the starting back may not be far behind. If you are looking to add a running back, you may want to look at this 2nd-year Seahawk.

Donnie Avery, STL, WR: It is hard to trust any player on the St. Louis Rams roster, but when you consider they often find themselves down and in passing situations, you may want to think about grabbing Donnie Avery. The second year receiver is coming off an impressive 67 yard, 2 touchdown performance against the Saints and the Rams now have upcoming games against some rather weak secondaries. If Bulger is forced to throw the ball, it could be in Avery’s direction quite often, making him a good pick up for those in need of depth at the wide receiver position.

Alex Smith, SF, QB: If you are looking for a quarterback and haven’t went out and got Alex Smith yet, we recommend you act quickly. The former first overall pick seems to finally be coming around and that has been great news for the San Francisco 49ers. While Smith did not put up great numbers last week against the Colts, he did post 198 yards and a touchdown against an Indianapolis pass defense that had previously given up only two scores through the air. With games against the Titans, Bears, Jags, Seahawks and Lions still to come, Smith may become a valuable second half fantasy sleeper.

Ryan Moats, HOU, RB: When Steve Slaton was benched for fumbling early in the Texans’ game at Buffalo, several fantasy owners saw their first round pick continue what has been a disappointing season thus far. If they are looking for some way to make up for this bust, we recommend the addition of Ryan Moats to their team. Moats was spectacular coming in to relieve Slaton as he rushed for 126 yards on 23 carries and three touchdowns. While Gary Kubiak has not yet decided who his feature back will be, you can expect Moats to get plenty of carries as he has become the Texans most reliable backfield option.

Justin Fargas, OAK, RB: Don’t expect Fargas to save your fantasy season, but he can provide some quality numbers to those looking for a week nine replacement. With McFadden out, Fargas has done an impressive job carrying the load in the Raiders’ backfield and their match up next week against the Chiefs is an intriguing one. Last time the two teams met, the Raiders got their first, and only, victory of the season. Expect this match to be another close one and that should give Fargas plenty of opportunities to run the ball against a poor Kansas City run defense. If you need a one-week replacement, Fargas may be your man.

Malcolm Floyd, SD, WR: With Chris Chambers now out of the picture, Floyd has moved into the Chargers starting line up along side Vincent Jackson. Although he will not be putting up similar numbers to the Chargers go-to guy, he will see more action in their aerial attack, and that can make him a valuable addition to any fantasy team in need of a wideout. In his first stint as a starter in week 8, he posted 64 yards on two catches. Expect those numbers to improve as he becomes more familiar with his upgraded role.

Kevin Walter, HOU, WR: Not only was there a change in the Houston Texans backfield over the weekend, but they also lost their star tight end Owen Daniels for the season, causing them to make some adjustments in the passing game. Matt Schaub struggled throughout the game without Daniels, but with a full week of practice ahead, they should be able to sort out a new game plan in their passing attack and you can expect that to involve a lot more of Kevin Walter. Injuries have slowed him through the first half of this season, but given the opportunity he may be able to get back to the form that saw him record eight touchdowns in 2008.

Kyle Orton, DEN, QB: We are now going into week 6 and Kyle Orton has his Denver Broncos at 5-0. With that being said, it may finally be time to pick him up and put him on your fantasy team. His numbers may not be mind-blowing, but Orton has consistently put up decent fantasy totals and has steadily improved throughout the year thus far. That was evident in a 330 yard, two touchdown performance Sunday against the New England Patriots. With coach Josh McDaniels guiding him along the way, and growing increasingly confident in Orton, the Broncos QB is well worth a backup role on most fantasy teams.

Matt Cassel, KC, QB: After missing the first week with an injury and having a rough week two against the Raiders, many owners may have jumped the gun quick on Cassel and kicked him to the curb. Now after three consecutive weeks of two touchdown performances, those same owners should be scrambling to pick him back up off waivers, and so should you. The Chiefs often find themselves playing from behind, and that means you can expect Cassel to be airing the ball out quite a bit for the remainder of the season.

Jamal Lewis, CLE, RB: Many owners fell off the Jamal Lewis bandwagon after Jerome Harrison‘s big week four performance. It was expected that Harrison would be a great week five start against the Bills poor run defense, but Lewis stole the show with a whopping 31 carries for 117 yards. That is even more impressive when you consider how poorly the Browns passing game was (only two completions) allowing the Bills defense to anticipate run. The Browns backfield depth chart may continue to change throughout the season, but for now Lewis has reclaimed the top spot.

Jeremy Maclin, PHI, WR: Eagels quarterback Donovan McNabb was back in action Sunday and that meant great things for rookie receiver Jeremy Maclin. The man out of Missouri was a popular target against the Bucs, catching 6 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. As long as McNabb is in the lineup and teams look to clamp down on DeSean Jackson, Maclin may continue to put up some numbers in the Eagles deadly offensive attack.

Eddie Royal, DEN, WR: Eddie Royal was expected to have a breakout yer prior to the beginning of this season, but after four games he recorded only 8 receptions. That caused many owners to drop the second year man out of Virginia Tech, but after a 10 catch performance for 90 yards against the Patriots, Orton and Royal may have finally found their comfort level. This could just be a one game thing, but if the two can build off their week 5 chemistry, Royal may quickly reestablish himself as a No. 2 fantasy receiver.
