While many have moved on to<a title="First There Was Tebowing.
Before “Tebowing,” Lindsey did have the common courtesy to approach Tebow’s brother, who was at the race, and ask him if performing the act would be disrespectful. He seemed fine with it and soon after another brilliant moment in Tebowing history was born.

One fan was able to provide us with the latter during a Rugby World Cup match between Argentina and England, and he also appeared to be willing to show of his breasts (not incredible breasts) and the rest of his body, as he ran across the field naked following a converted kick by Argentina.

Thankfully, either the camera didn’t zoom in enough, or his package was simply to small to make the following video ‘not safe for work.’ So here is a look at the SFW video of the Rugby World Cup streaker.

Although I may not follow the game of rugby too closely, I understand the rules of the game enough to recognize the fact that South African winger Bryan Habana has game-breaking speed. On second thought, you probably don’t need to know a single thing about the game of rugby to realize that fact after watching the following clip.

Here is a look at some highlight reel plays from the man who may very well be the fastest player at the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Prepare to be amazed.

It was quite the scene, but we don’t expect the teams from Mali, Panama and Saudi Arabia to receive a similar welcoming.

France breezed through the group stage, winning all three games and scoring nine goals while conceding just one. Things got tougher in the knockout stage, as it took them until extra-time to defeat Paraguay. They needed penalty kicks to beat Italy in the next round and narrowly beating Croatia, 2-1, to reach the finals. Brazil also finished first in their group and crushed Chile in their first knockout game, 4-1. They then went on to defeat Denmark and Holland in the following tow rounds, reaching their second consecutive World Cup final.

In the finals, French midfielder Zinedine Zidane scored two almost identical goals in the first half off corner kicks. Both times Zidane was able to free himself from the Brazilian defender and score on a powerful header. There was no coming back for Brazil in this match, as France became the seventh different nation to win the World Cup and the sixth to do so on home soil.

Here are France’s three goals from the finals.

Italy finished the round robin stage with three draws, tying them with Cameroon for second place in Group 1. However, with identical points and goal differential, the Italians were awarded a spot in the second round because of their greater number of goals scored. They would go on to win Group C in the second round after beating Argentina and Brazil, and they advanced to the finals via a 2-0 victory over Poland in Barcelona.

Italy appeared to have the fresher legs in the finals and after a scoreless first half, goals from Paolo Rossi, Marco Tardelli and Alessandro Altobelli put them up 3-0. West Germany would score a goal of their own in the 83rd minute, but that was all they could manage as the Italians came away with the trophy.

Paolo Rossi would earn both the golden boot as the tournaments leasing scorer and the golden ball as the tournament MVP. Italy has since added one more World Cup championship to their trophy case, winning the tournament in 2006.

Here is a look at the highlights from the 1982 World Cup Finals between Italy and West Germany.

That year marked the first time in World Cup history that the tournament was held in Asia as well as the first time it was hosted in two countries, as both South Korea and Japan shared hosting duties. Brazil was the class of the tournament, winning all seven games they played and outscoring their opponents by a combined 18-4. Ronaldo won the golden boot with 8 goals, while teammate Rivaldo tied for second with five goals of his own.

Brazil has come up short in their last two World Cup appearances, losing in the quarter-finals in both 2006 and 2010. They have already qualified for the 2014 event as the hosts, and should among the favorites to win their sixth World Cup title in front of their home fans.

Here are Ronaldo’s 2 goals from the finals.

Therefore, it is rather surprising to see ESPN’s SportsCenter advertise the upcoming Women’s World Cup with a commercial of one of their anchors diving after being bumped at their office in Bristol. Is this supposed to get me excited about women’s soccer? If it is, it isn’t working.
