I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina on an division 1 soccer scholarship in 2002. In my freshmen year, we won the Big South Conference championship, only to fall to North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The following year I transferred to the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut where I completed the remaining 3 years of my NCAA eligibility and earned a degree in business. I have since returned to Toronto and am in the process of completing my CA designation. I am also a current member of the Italia Shooters soccer club
I enjoy all sports, but my true love and passion is for soccer. I am a dedicated fan of gli “NeriAzzuri”, better known as Inter-Milan. Although born in Toronto, I have been a Montreal Canadians fan for as long as I can remember. My favorite athlete of all time would have to be the ever controversial Diego Maradona.
I have no set agenda on TotalProSports.com. When I feel passionate about something in sports, or feel that there is an issue that needs to be addressed or publicized; I will let you, the reader, know about it.
There are two memorable sporting events that will be tattooed in my brain for my whole life. One was going to the San Siro in Milan to watch the derby between Inter and Milan in 98’. The second would have to be going to the last game between Montreal and the Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens. I will never forget when Rocket Richard was honored in the pre-game ceremonies and was given a 15 minute standing ovation, I still get shivers from it.
