Week 4 Fantasy Football Waiver Wonders
Total Pro Sports – The waiver wire is an important resource for you to utilize as the fantasy football season moves along. Many lesser known wide receivers had big weeks and they could still be available in your league. The player with the most potential on this weeks list appears to be Antonio Bryant but there are a couple other players that might be worth adding.
Here are the fantasy football waiver wire wonders of week 3.
Chansi Stuckey, WR, New York Jets,
Stuckey had another solid game this week posting 6 receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. He as become one of Favre’s favorite targets since he joined the Jets. So far Stuckey has a touchdown reception in every game this year, not bad for a seventh round pick.
Correll Buckhalter, RB, Philadelphia Eagles,
The long time back-up to Brian Westbrook, Buckhalter had strong game in week 4 as he got more than his usual reps. He rushed 10 times for 43 yards and also had 6 receptions for 44 and 1 touchdown. Buckhalter might have an increased role this week as Westbrook might be limited due to injury.
Antonio Bryant, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
Bryant had a nice stat line in Tampa’s OT win against the Bears. He totaled 10 receptions for 138 yards. Bryant could now be the number 1 receiver in Tampa Bay as star wide-out Joey Galloway is not playing due to injury. It also looks he might be a favorite target of new starter Brain Griese.
Brandon Lloyd, WR, Chicago Bears,
Once considered to be one of the best young receivers in the league when he played in San Francisco in recent years Lloyd has fallen off the earth it seems. It looks as if he has found a new life in Chicago as this past week he caught 6 passes for 124 yards and 1touchdown. Be careful because this guy could be a 1 week wonder.
