College Football Players of Week 8
Total Pro Sports – On a weekly basis theer are certain players that impress us with their spectacular performances. This week was much of the same with many players having outstanding showings for their respective teams. As teams position themselves to make a run for a National Championship, it’s their key players that need to contribute in these big games.
We will break down our most outstanding College Football Players of Week 8 and explain why they are the best of the best for the week.

Fantasy College Quarterback Player of Week
Sam Bradford, Oklahoma Sooners – You would have thought that the important loss to Texas may have ratteled his confidence, negetive! He has continued to dominate opponents defences with his pin-point accuracy and his ability to throw the deep ball, coaches are shaking their heads at the plays he is making. This week he set the single game passing mark for a Oklahoma quarterback, throwing for 468 yards and 3 touchdowns while putting up 45 points. Oklahoma is averaging 46.9 PPG this year, they rank third in passing yards per game at 380, and Bradford owns a better than 5:1 touchdown to interception ratio.

Fantasy College Running Back Player of Week
Evan Royster, Penn State Nittany Lions – He gives the Nittany Lions the balance on offense that enables them to make the big plays in the passing attack. Royster has been pheonominal this year with his explosiveness and pure speed he has the ability to score on any given play. This week he rushed for an impressive 174 yards on only 18 carries for a 9.7 yard average. He also had this performance against a Wolverine team that prides itself on playing solid defence, and we know that they wanted to be the first team to beat Penn State.

Fantasy College Receiver Player of Week
Dezmon Briscoe, Kansas Jayhawks – He broke the single game recieving mark with his 12 receptions for 269 yards, Briscoe finished with 282 all-purpose yards in a losing effort. Briscoe entered the week with 436 recieving yards, he gained better than half of that in this week alone. Briscoe is a long reciever that can make the tough catches on third down, however this week he did something totally out of his element.
